This book is a collection of Zuni folktales. It's a really interesting insight into the culture and history of the Zuni people. Cushing was an ethnologist, so he was an expert on the subject. The trickster lore was great and the clothes-stealing tarantula was particularly awesome, but there were a lot of tales that were too similar -- basically the same story over and over again. Not the best book out there on the subject, but definitely not the worst either.
