Your Authentic Self: Be Yourself at Work

Rate this book
Many people feel as though they lead double lives, switching identities between work and home and longing for a seamless life in which the different parts of their personalities are united. The key to achieving this quality of life is authenticity — the ability to be yourself. The premise of Your Authentic Self is that by allowing the true self to appear in the workplace, people gain access to their hidden gifts, including creativity, intuition, and innovation. Including 40 techniques for gaining access to one's true self while on the job, author Ric Giardina combines an engaging storytelling style with personal anecdotes based on 25 years of experience with some of America's leading corporations.

It reminds me that basically our own self-respect is the foundation of lasting joy. It's important to realize that we are beautiful just as we are, in our complete authentic selves.

This is a phenomenal book. Although the title states that it specializes "at work" it's really an incredible tool for every minute of every day.
