A hilarious children's story about how the witch community is envious of one witch's rather unusual dog "familiar," the other witches are so jealous they sack their cats from the job of familiar and in desperation Witch Cackle dognaps the dog familiar to help her with her spells, the dog refuses to work for her and the whole escapade ends up with chaos disastrous consequences until the the cats are reinstated to their old job. Lovely illustrations lend a touch of humour to a great children's tale. Worth reading.
