It's an interesting look at the book of Genesis (I know! God and Jesus!) as an allegory or metaphor for all creative acts as opposed to the story of the world's creation.

Not for those who can't handle a little god and jesus thrown into the mix. It was a little heavy on the religion and a little light on the insight, but it's short and to the point and an interesting first step in a very different direction for me.

I'd recommend it only to people who really are ok with the concept of "god" as being something within you, and something for which "god" seems to be the best word for that indescribable connection between souls.

Yeah, now I sound like a self-help-religious mush mouth.

I truly can't fairly rate this book because I didn't finish it. I found it a bit too flowery and somewhat repetitive. I couldn't relate to the biblical analogies he used and was not inspired to even finish reading it, yet be inspired for creativity. I give it 2 stars because I don't think that it was poorly written, it just wasn't for me.

A quick read and spiritually-based creativity book. I really enjoyed this book. Cool twist in that it tied the days of creation in Genesis to every day creativity. Had also straight forward explanations as well as exercises.
