This study explores God's plans for authority by focusing on God's revelation of himself as shepherd, and how God calls leaders to image him. The rest of the study looks at the special responsibilities and roles within the church, fulfilled by elders, deacons, and church members themselves.

Bobby Jamieson is a Ph.D. student in New Testament and affiliated lecturer in New Testament Greek at the University of Cambridge. He and his wife are members of Eden Baptist Church, and they live in Cambridge with their three children. Bobby previously served as assistant editor for 9Marks.

This is the last Bible study book in this series for me. All of them are very rich, biblical, useful, and makes you love God's church more. Highly recommended!

Good - didn't expect this to be a study guide (like for a small group) when I bought it. A little roughly put together, but still good stuff. Good workbook for church elders-in-training maybe?
