Evan John investigates the era of the early 1400s in England, Scotland and at time France as Henry V makes his mark on history while Prince James, heir to the throne of Scotland as King James I is held in pleasant captivity as a hostage in various places in England. The book follows his eventual release and rule in Scotland leading up to his assassination.

Very well written and as gripping as fiction but so close to the facts as to count as a history book. Unique.
