Rio Saunders owns and runs a male strip club that's all about women's pleasure. But to Rio, beautiful and lonely, it's all about business - until Bryce Sullivan shows up...The club needs a dancer and Bryce has the goods. He has the rythym, he has style, and he's incredibly hot. Rio's been burnt by men before and has no intention of doing the horizontal tango with her handsome new hire, thanks very much. But just watching his ultra-sensual moves really lights her fire...First night on and Boyce freezes in the spotlight. Rio has to help. Dancing with him is a mind blowing experience. As the music pulsates, the two move as one, exquisitely aroused and wanting much, much more. And they both know they're going to get it...Scorching hot.
Delta Dupree writes as hot as the Arizona desert heat where she lives. She and her husband, another romantic at heart, are avid travelers. While touring exotic locations throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, Central and South America, reading has always been Delta's pleasure, but writing novels is her passion. Inspired by the people and the places she has visited, Delta enjoys inventing characters and stories in which lust, love, and destiny leave the readers' hearts stuttering.
This book was pretty disappointing. First off, I absolutely could not get on-board with the main characters. They made conflicting decisions and seemed overly moody and just bizarre. Also, the author did a terrible job of giving details about the characters. One of the "issues" between the hero/heroine is how much older she thinks she is than he is...but, she doesn't actually tell us the age difference until the last few chapters of the book. There are other details that you have to guess on, and still I was never sure about some of them.
There were also several times when the characters were reacting to a scenario and their reactions made me think I'd missed a few pages, or somehow didn't understand what had really happened. Not a good thing, and it happened multiple times.
This book was a blast. A friend of my was reading it and was telling me about it. So I put down all other books to start this one. And it did not disappoint. It was an incredible ride from start to finish.
