I downloaded this from the DSP Halloween Howl, and hadn't realized it was set with continuing characters from previous stories. There were quite a few pages of retelling from those stories, so between the "telling" and the chance I might want to read them down the road, I did not finish this one. No need to spoil anything just for a freebie.

It was nice to see Rory, Jared, Benny and Curtis again and to see Curtis and Jared in their dragon form. I love that Benny and Curtis can speak psychically. I can't remember if Rory and Jared can do that. Anyway, I enjoyed this little short and hope there's more to come of them soon!

This was a free download as part of the Dreamspinner Halloween Howl promotion. It was as pretty good story considering its length. I did realize that this is book #2.5 of the One Wish series, so I was not familiar with the characters at all. I think that would've made the short more enjoyable.
