An award-winning, best-selling novelist of over a dozen books, J. P. Barnaby is a proud member of the GLBT community both online and in her small town on the outskirts of Chicago. A member of Mensa, she is often described as brilliant but troubled, sweet but introverted and talented but deviant. She spends her days writing software and her nights writing erotica which is, of course, far more interesting. The spare time that she carves out between her career and her novels is spent reading about the concept of love, which, like some of her characters, she has never quite figured out for herself.
An achingly bittersweet story about a man who has lost his husband and the anniversary of his death. This is sweet and sad, but with a hopeful (though still depressing) end.
A sad story about a husband (Evan) mourning the passing of his life partner(Daniel) and is visited by his ghost so they can have one last night together and hopefully give Evan the push to start living again.
This story had sexy times and plenty of feelz, but nothing terribly original plot-wise. I also couldn't help but feel as if the vignette lacked a meaningful resolution; Evan was just as lonely and broken at the end of the story as he was at the beginning, so what was the point of Daniel's visit?
This was a very short story about Evan who is mourning his dead lover. After reach a point where Evan questions his ability to go on, Daniel visits him as a spirit. It was a very bittersweet story.
