OK, there are some flaws with this short story. The editing is not great. There's head-jumping within a single paragraph. The MC is so over-the-top innocent that he is on the TSTL side (when a guy you've known 24 hours asks you to drive a strange car back from Mexico, say no. Even farm boys from Nebraska know that). The final paragraph is some of the truly worst writing I've ever seen No, I take that back. Nothing is as bad as Forced Fantasies. This is literary genius beside that. But the final paragraph is cliched and not good at all.

However, there is something in the rawness of the book that highlights the odd line which seems real to me. Real as if it came from a heart, rather than a carefully crafted work of fiction.

He had associated all of his manliness with a perversion for things that were wrong. But now he saw it as his ability to share love and pain and all of the other things that men do.

Even when the writing is somewhat lacking, it seems merely unfiltered, rather than pretentious.

From the bathroom Rex looked back at Justin's hard cock. It was still awesome to look at.

Now, I don't have a cock, but I do indeed think they're awesome to look at. I don't buy the whole Freudian penis envy deal, but I imagine if I had one I'd think it was pretty awesome too. The simplicity of this line really resonates with me: Justin's cock is awesome to look at.

The author is trying to frame this as stark and dirty gay erotica, but there is a reticence about the actual sex scenes that is somewhat endearing: like a 19-year-old trying to be all ooh-I'm-so-cutting-edge-anti-establishment by turning in a college essay with explicit sexual content, but who can't bring themselves to say vagina out loud.

So, I'm not sure if I'd go as far as getting the others in the series, but as a free read this was suprisingly better than OK.

I have had this book for a pretty long time, but since I’m trying to clear up my old ebooks, I thought I would give it a shot. This is the first installment in a series of erotic romance short stories. The plot centers on Justin, a young man from a small town who relocates to Hollywood and develops feelings for his male escort neighbor, Rex. His neighbor later refers to him as Baby Boy. They grow closer as Baby Boy learns more about his sexuality and desires.

Although the story’s description suggests that there will be graphic details in the sex scenes, it ultimately falls short of that expectation. The sex scenes read more like soft porn. I’m unsure whether this was a deliberate choice or if the author was constrained by publishing guidelines. While this lack of explicitness is a drawback for an erotic story, the strong character development compensates for this shortcoming.

The story is fast-paced, and the author includes some thrilling and tension-building moments, such as the car scene. Justin comes across as a stereotype of the naive gay virgin farm boy, while Rex represents the outgoing escort who is experienced and worldly. This didn’t bother me because I believe that a transformation will occur by the end of this installment, indicating that the next installment will offer even more.

I enjoyed reading the story and am curious to see where the characters are headed. While the series is no longer available on Amazon, it can still be found on Smashwords. Finishing it isn’t a top priority for me at the moment, as I have other books on my TBR list, but it’s definitely on my radar.

A funny, over-sexed story which had me laughing mostly because Justin is dumber than a rock but sexy as hell. I'm not going to complain about the editing as this was a freebie. The story did not read smooth but there was certain honesty in the author's writing. I just plain enjoyed the story flaws and all.

Disturbing. While I have no issue with the subject matter or the ages of the characters, it still bothered me for some reason. Not sure why. I do, however, know that I will not be reading the rest of the series.

Baby Boy is easily corrupted into being a little whore. Personally, I'd have liked to read about Baby boy getting it hard like a spit roast. The sex scenes were so glossed over it's like watching porn with the blurry parts for the sex organs. Debauching the virgin is a theme I like. There wasn't enough debauching here for me. There are 3 more books to this series. I'm going to have to pass.

I really give it 3 1/2 stars but i rounded up. For a free read, it was surprisingly not bad. Decently edited, an actual plot and though there is hot sex also involved...I actually was left wanting to read the next part of the series. It was not as bad at all, not a masterpiece mind you.

As a short story it didn't spend time meandering in between the sex that was at the fore of this boy's exploits. The ending came rather quickly, as episodic pieces do which left me wanting more (a good thing if you're establishing a series, I suppose). Yet, while the plot was intriguing and the perspective of a rube farmboy in LA discovering what he could do with his body and enormous third leg was a quick stimulating read. Here's the problem I have with it:

It's not the sex scenes, I was fully prepared for that and I have never had an issue with it, however, while it intrigued me I am not sure if it was enough to continue the series. I got it as a freebie, so perhaps I'll contemplate the others in the series. The price is rather steep for such a short story. A buck for something like this, sure no problem. However, I can't fully justify a short of this length when I can get a much longer feature book for around the same price as these few pages. I am paying a premium per page that I am not sure it's warranted.

So, got the juices flowing? Sure thing. Intriguing characters and set up? On the money there. Worth the price? Well now, there ya have me... jury's still out.

I remember when this was first made available. The ending of part 1 was different then. Either way, for being a free read it may not be the greatest, but it is decent. The story is pure fantasy however, so if you're looking for something deeper to read, you'd do well to look elsewhere.

This was a quick read. Not what I had in mind, but it was ok.

Justin just moved from Nebraska, and trying to experience life in California.
Never having left Nebraska, He is learning that things are VERY different.

Just sitting in his room and listening to his neighbor with a different voice every day shocked him.
It totally turned him on, a lot.. but it still shocked him.

When Justin decided it was time he did something about his own arousal, the noises traveled though the wall in unison.
As the guy next door left his room to get a bucket of ice, Justin ran out with some quarters to get a coke in the machine next to him.
He just wanted to see the guy. And the young looking guy got a good look at Justin too.

When his neighbor decides to pay Justin a visit in his room, Justin is thrown back and becomes really nervous.
Rex invited Justin to go out, but when Justin admitted he didn’t have any money, Rex decided to take things in his own hands
And invite Justin into Rex’s business.

At the Club, Rex ignites’ the interested of another man. When Rex asks Justin if he’s interested in a threesome, Justin says he doesn’t think
He’s ready for that just yet. So Rex invites Justin over to watch and the guy will pay him $100.

$100 to watch Rex have sex with another man, Justin knew it was wrong to do, but his curiosity got the better hand. Of things.

After watching Rex and this strange man going at it. The surprise of the force Rex used shocked Justin. But the strange man wasn’t going to go unless
Justin got off himself. So he calls Justin over to him. Since Justin had never been with anyone before (other than himself) it was a bit awkward for everyone in the room.

When Rex realized that Justin was pure and innocent, things started to change ….

Cute story – I wasn’t too impressed with the abrupt ending, but it works 

This wasn't as bad as I feared it would be but also find it hard to rate because it's not the usual type of MM romance I read. And I label it a romance in that there's love, sort of, and there's a sweet, if implausible HEA.

I was expecting this to be more hardcore erotica and in this respect, Baby Boy didn't quite deliver. If I were looking for a typical MM romance, this isn't it either because it's about a 20 year-old virgin losing his cherry for a thousand bucks which he happily takes. Baby Boy and Rex, his new-found friend in big bad Hollywood do their thing as callboys, with Rex's father as their pimp.

Somewhere along the way, Rex's grandfather gets in the act, too, but it isn't as gross as it sounds - trust me on this. Or maybe not. Up to you.

But there's love and a fairytale HEA, if that helps. I'm giving it 3 stars because I did finish it in one sitting (wow!) and would have given it another half star if not for the fact that Rex never explains how he got away from the drugrunner who jammed his gun up Rex's mouth. If you're not going to explain, then don't have your MC mention it at all, I say, especially on the last page of your story.

The fast forward two years later was unsatisfactory because the way things were going, a lot would have happened in the two years, Yet all that is condensed into the second half of the final chapter of this 4-book story and it would have a lot more for the book had we been given Rex's side of things instead of the few lines at the last page.

This book made me more than a little uncomfortable. The main character becomes infatuated with his neighbor, who is the epitome of a negative influence and after one night with him, Baby Boy should have been half deaf from all the warning bells going off in his head. Not so. Despite the dangerous, illegal and morally ambiguous situations his neighbor puts him into without the slightest regard for his emotional state or physical safety, Baby Boy continues to feel nothing but affection and lust for him. Most disturbing of all is when Baby Boy decides to emulate him, deeming him a worthy role model.

Not boring or poorly written, I admit the story was engaging and the cliffhanger ending really left me brimming over with curiousity. However, the notion of watching Baby Boy take such a willing and active role in his own self destruction makes me uneasy enough to not want to continue with the series.

This was totally not what I was expecting. It took me a little bit (it is pretty short) to get into the actual story, but, by the end, I was sad at being left hanging. I loved sweet, innocent Baby Boy, but Rex made me mostly mad. This was extremely short and had quite a few typo/word usage issues that were a little distracting. I enjoyed it in the end and wanted to move right on to the next one to find out what happens mext.

There was more plot here than what I was expecting. I really didn't like Rex and felt he was using Baby Boy Justin, not protecting him. The entire time I was reading this I kept thinking "this is how sexually transmitted diseases get spread." Not a good thought to have when reading a book. Justin was a bit too naive for my taste. I don't like where the series is heading so I won't continue on.

This novella is one of the better free reads of this type that I've found on Amazon. There are a few typos but not as many as in others I've seen. The prose is workmanlike if not inspired and the story moves along.

As with most erotica, this will never amount to great fiction but for "friction fiction" its not the worst I've seen.

Justin is fresh of the farm and living in California now. His neighbor is a high price call boy who thinks of Justin as "Baby Boy" because of his innocence. Justin has a fixation on his neighbor and decides to lose his innocence to win him over. This book is not for people looking for romance or HEA. Rough life, rough sex.

Ah, the dreaded 'needs more editing' because I was getting distracted. Don't think I'll be reading any more from this author. Had on ok start but ended on a cliffhanger - to buy the rest of the series. I'm glad I read it though since I had been interested in another series so saved some money.

The fact I giggled at the descriptions all the way through the first voyeuristic sex scene should have been a clue that this wasn't the book for me. If you like cheesy descriptions of cocks and a MC who is ridiculously naive then give this a try. It just didn't work for me.

Well, it wasn't awful. It was decent. It wasn't good enough to put the sequels on my to-buy-immediately list. The pace is a little fast, and the characters are presented in a way that makes them seem a little shallow. All things considered, I'd give it 2.5 stars.

Why has this got such a low rating? I actually liked it :) I read it last year, along with the rest of the series. I might give it another read soon.
