AwesomeDude is a site that brings a cornucopia of stories to readers at no cost. Midnight Dude: Selected Readings is a showcase of that talent, bringing you 18 wonderfully different stories by 18 talented authors.

The majority of these stories were written especially for this anthology whilst just a few are the editors favorites from the site. There is something for everyone here. Fantasy and stark realism. War stories and sports. Humor and pathos. Angst and passion.

The one constant is fine writing, writing that will hook you and keep you turning pages. This is but a small sample of what is available on the site, but each of these stories will provide a magical escape into the world of the imagination for the reader.

I give this five stars, but I'm biased - I wrote one of the stories and collaborated on the book.

This anthology is a showcase for the work of the writers who contribute to www.awesomedude.com and profit from the sale of the book will go towards the running costs of the site. Each author has donated his work so that the benefit to the site can be maximised. Eighteen short stories from eighteen authors, very varied in style and contact but all beautifully written and involving stories, LGBT themed from a positive point of view.

It's a kaleidoscope of attractive stories and I strongly recommend it, and although 'I would say that wouldn't I?', I honestly commend it to you as enjoyable bedtime reading. Most of the authors are established names in the online community, but hardly any of them have previously been conventionally published, so you might discover a new favourite author here!

No rating yet, but I have read some of the fiction posted by the awesome dudes on the Awesome Dude website so this is more of a MUST read than a 'to read'. Good luck to all the contributors, and thanks Bruin for the rec. A proper review will follow.

A very good selection of seventeen gay themed short stories from various writers at awesomedude.com. It includes a novella by Cole Parker that's worth the cover price on its own.
