Loved it. I was getting strong Charlie's Angels vibes at the beginning of the story with the mysterious benefactor talking to the group of men. My favorite part was when the whole team and Sadie are around the table, eating, and they start talking about surveys and flavor profiles. The whole story was fantastic but the danger side of the it was so good!

It’s very short at 194 pages, so everything feels rather crammed in.
It was okay. It was a short and easy read when I’m suffering from insomnia. At two in the morning I don’t want to read anything that I have to think about. In the day I wasn’t as keen to read it. Rocco and four other men have all had their lives saved by a mysterious man, who gives them a marker to say that they owe him. It gets rather silly as they all go to work in a hotel resort in New Zealand and they’ll have ‘secret’ missions to do. 😂😂
Sadie is the teams first mission. To protect her and save her life. As she knows some things about her ex boss. Somehow their mysterious boss knows that they are all daddy doms, and that the women they save will all be littles. It’s all rather bizarre.
It doesn’t say what they all did previously. It hints that they were all military but then it never says what they did.
Also I’ve got to say that I’m not a massive fan of the man looking at the woman at their first meeting and thinking, ‘Mine.’ Unless I’m reading a shifter romance. Within two days Rocco and Sadie are in a daddy dom relationship, and she’s moved into his apartment, and he’s set up a ‘little play room’ for her.
It all seems so rushed. We don’t know anything about either of them. Do they have family? Where did they grow up? Have they got any siblings? Did they go to college? Do either of them have any friends?
Sorry not for me. Apart from when I can’t sleep in two in the morning, then it’s okay. 🥱

Roll Play Kink
A good read despite the insta love, but the blurb didn't make it very obvious this is a roll-play kink book. One mention of "daddy vibes" didn't make it obvious to me that it's a very central theme.

In the prologue of this book we learn how Rocco becomes indebted to a stranger and give a strange gold coin.
We join Rocco two years later as he arrives at the Danger Bluff Mountain Resort, it's currently undergoing renovations and repairs. He's met by Sadie the reception manager who immediately captures the Daddy Dom within him. He's informed he's the last to arrive and taken to a conference room where he meets five others who've been summoned the same as him. All of them have the same strange coin. After he reads the note to answer the phone on speaker at 12:30, they introduce themselves. Phoenix, Hawking, Kestral, Caesar, and Magnus. When they answer the phone, the man tells them they will have roles at the resort but that those are a cover for their real purpose. No real answers for them just that they will have apartments on the fifth floor and the control center in the basement is meant to be their home base. No one else would have access to those areas and Magnus would be entering their fingerprints in the system for easier access. They are also told Sadie had envelopes for each of them with his expectations within.
As the men left the conference room Sadie gave them their envelope. When Rocco didn't emerge, she went to him. He pulls out his Daddy Dom persona and has a talk with her, all the while knowing she's his perfect little girl.
Later that day a package arrives for Rocco, when he opens it, he finds a message that his assignment is to protect Sadie, it also contains an encrypted flash drive. He first heads to the fifth floor hoping to find Magnus but no one was up there. Next stop is the basement, but it took a minute to figure out, and that was by accidentally asking the empty elevator how to get to the basement.
From this point these men who a few hours ago were strangers become a team. They discover they are all Daddy Doms and they acknowledge Rocco's claim on Sadie. They would also have his back as he keeps her safe.
Rocco and Sadie have a simmer to sizzle relationship and it's fun to see it unfold. This all happens while the men investigate what needs to be done for their areas and also work on the information to keep her safe.
A lot of things happen in this book as they all prepare for the grand opening and wait for someone to make a move on Sadie.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Wonderful read on a Team of Professional brought together to protect innocents who are in danger
This is a simply wonderful read that I guarantee you will be completely blown away by, this is a group of men that had all at some time been rescued or a family member was saved and they were given a marker and advised that they would be called on at a later date,
Rocco had been the last to arrive at the hotel and activity center that has been built in New Zealand and they were all waiting for the hotel competition and for it to open, readying all of the security and various other activities each man was responsible for.
The men that have come together are Rocco, Phoenix, Hawking, Caesar, Kestrel and receptionist and manager Sadie who is hiding out after she discovered that her previous employer had been cheating on its accounting and when she noticed this she had been threatened, then had to run for her life so that Sylvester Pushkin could not locate her.
When Sadie and Rocco had realised that they were in fact Daddy and she was his little girl they realised that their employer had brought them together as a team to help innocents in need and Baldwin Kingsley III was extremely knowledgeable about them all and the subsequent cases that was arise.
Imagine the teams surprise when they also realise that they are all Daddies and all have been searching for their Little but up until now have remained alone. As the group come together to help keep Sadie safe, they have to fight strong unseen forces that are looking to kill the little girl and anyone else that gets in their way.
I guarantee that you will be captivated by this read it is well written with strong characters and a wonderful plot, you will be left looking forward to the next book in this series.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Rocco was a great first book in Pepper North & Becca Jameson’s new Danger Bluff series! It’s not only a great age play Daddy Dom romance, but the suspense elements were fantastic! Honestly, it felt a bit like a reverse Charlie’s Angels, with a mysterious billionaire pulling together an elite team of military men to protect the innocent, who, if I’m guessing correctly, will all end up being the littles the men have been searching for to daddy!
Sadie is a sweet mix of independent and competent woman and sweet and innocent little. Her intelligence and curiosity have gotten her into a real slice of trouble, and although she is able to escape, her resources are not enough to truly hide from the threat after her. I loved how Rocco immediately felt the attraction to her and realized just how badly she needed someone in her corner . . . even before realizing just how deadly the threat was. He’s oh so alpha, yet super sweet and romantic with Sadie as well. I’m also totally intrigued by the rest of the team and cannot wait to see who they get matched up with! 4.5 stars!

Great start to the Dangerous Bluff series. The authors have given us readers a suspenseful, action packed “Daddy” romance with wonderful characters. We start with Sadi: aka Cookie who is on the run from her former boss because she knows too much. She makes her way halfway around the world and lands a job at a soon to reopen mountain resort. Then we have “the team” - 5 men who have all converged on the resort. All 5 men are ex-military with their own unique skill set with 2 things in common: they all have converged at the resort due to a marker called in and they are all “Daddies”. They have no clue who their “boss” is, he’s only a voice on the telephone. Rocco is the last of the “team” to arrive. When he’s met at the front desk by Sadie, he is immediately drawn to her and knows in his heart she is meant to be his. When their first mission comes in, to protect Sadie at all cost. But Rocco has two missions: Convincing her they can keep her safe and that she is his.
When trouble comes at them from all sides, can they keep Sadie safe? When danger hits, will Sadie trust Rocco and the team or will she run again. This is a great “Daddy/Little” suspenseful romance. This reader looks forward to the next book/mission in the Danger Bluff Series.

Rocco didn’t know what was happening. Two yrs. ago he was given a marker, now he is at a hotel and he has no idea why. He does notice the Little at the front desk. Sadie was surprised that she got this job. Being the reception manager was a blessing. She needed this job. She certainly wasn’t going to jeopardize that. But there is something about Rocco that stirs her interest. Is he a Daddy?
We have six men that have the same marker: Rocco, Phoenix, Hawking, Kestrel, Caesar and Magnus. Each has a story and I am looking forward to each one. With Rocco being the first and having his marker called in, he not only has to protect Sadie but he found his Little. I actually think this is a fun idea. You would think that Baldwin Kingsley III is a matchmaker but I think we will learn more about the man and the whys as each story goes. I love that the guys all rally together and have a strong team. Sadie was safe from the very beginning. And with Rocco always pouring love out and the guys protection, she was good to go. We get a bit of mystery, action, adventure, and hot romance along with cuddles. I can’t wait to read about Hawking and Celeste.

The book starts out with us meeting Rocco after he is saved by some strangers during a hiking trip gone wrong. This later comes into play when he is brought to New Zealand on a special mission. His mission: keeping Sadie safe. Little did he know, that he was going to meet the Little of his dreams.
Sadie decides to take a job at a new resort that is set to open soon in New Zealand. Moving across the country, we later find out that she is running from a corrupt boss who wants to tie up loose ends and those loose ends are her.
I don't want to spoil the whole book for you, but you should pick up your own copy to see what happens between the Little and the Daddy who will do anything to protect what is his.

Charlie’s Angels meets the A Team
I really enjoyed the First book in the Danger Bluff series. Rocco found himself in a pickle and at the last moment he was saved and was given a gold coin with the instructions to be ready when called. Months later he received a letter with a gold seal telling him to report to a closed resort in New Zealand. He’s greeted by Sadie.” Whose giggle goes straight to his groin, she tells him the others are waiting in the board room. Rocco is greeted by 5 other men all who received a gold marker & he sees a note on the table Answer the speakerphone on the table at 12:30. When the phone rings they are greeted by a voice with no name gave them tasks at the resort while theyE each are tapped for their marker & Rocco is up nmkkk & his assignment is to protect Sadie; and yea she is little girl but she doesn’t know it yet. The rest of the men are daddies too. Rocco & Sadie’s story is hot & Dangerous full of twist turns. Can’t wait for the next book.

Rocco was saved from certain death 2 years ago, on the condition that a favor would be collected at some point in the future. That time has come. Sadie needs help. Her former boss is after her, and even though she's hiding out in New Zealand, halfway around the world, the bad man could still find her. When he does, Rocco and his team of five other men will band together to keep her safe. Sadie and her Daddy have just found each other. Rocco won't let anything bad happen to her.
This is a really good read. Written by two of my favorite authors, that's no surprise. Rocco and his team are all Daddies, and all of them have different strengths. Rocco's back story and position at the resort are interesting. Sadie is relatable, and someone I could see myself being friends with. Their story is part romance and part adventure. What an exciting story! I was engaged from page one right up until the very last page with the excitement of Sadie and Rocco. Sadie got a self in trouble back in the US when she recognise that the accounts were wrong on her bosses system, especially to the point where she had to escape with just a close on her back and her favourite stuffy and computer. Rocco is a rock climber and an adventurer, when his life is saved well out in the mountains he is given a token to be called in when the time is right. Rocco find himself in New Zealand two years later where he meets Sadie at the reception desk of a new resort, he knows Sadie is his Little, now, it is his job to keep Sadie alive. That’s where the adventure starts and the action begins. There is a happy ending and a lead up to the next book in the series.

What an Amazing start to a new series! In this first book we meet Rocco and Sadie. Rocco’s life was saved by unknown men. In exchange for his life he was given a marker and told that when it was called in he needed to go.
2 years later he is called to a resort that’s preparing to reopen in Australia. There at the front desk he meets Sadie. He knows right away that she is meant to be his Little girl.
But Sadie is running from trouble herself. She noticed some discrepancies in the books at her old job and her boss is not willing to let her live with that knowledge.
Also at the resort are several other men, all given markers and had them called in.
Their benefactor is just a voice over the phone and their first assignment is to keep Sadie safe. All the men are Daddies and all of them must pull together and form a team to combat the trouble headed their way!

Power packed with intrigue and mystery - romance too.
Wow, explosive suspense, serious life changing events from the first page. You just know this is going to be one of those - 'keeper, I have to read it again books'.
I absolutely loved the characters and the way they were integrated to add substance to Sadie and Rocco's addictive love story. It is sweet how focused Rocco is on Sadie and how her needs complement his own. I appreciated being let in on her thought processes, as I felt drawn in and not so much an observer.
This story is very well written, blending the two author's styles seamlessly. It has to be one of the most action packed and exciting stories I have read in awhile. I hated for it to end knowing I have to wait for the next book in this incredible series to be written.

This story is very well written, blending the two author's styles seamlessly. It has to be one of the most action packed and exciting stories I have read in awhile. I hated for it to end knowing I have to wait for the next book in this incredible series to be written.

Intrigued yet? I know I was. Rocco is the first book in the new series.

WOW! This book is a great start to a new series. I was hooked from the very beginning. When Rocco's life was saved and he was given a marker. A marker that will be redeemed and he lands in the middle of a resort with others who have been given the same marker and no clue why they are all brought together.
Sadie has taken a job in another country...heck another continent...which is mysterious. These two meet and there is an instant attraction but must be tampered down. When Rocco and the guys discover their first mission together is to protect Sadie, the gloves come off and Rocco will do whatever to protect her. His little girl. Forces want Sadie gone, and not from just the resort, and they will stop at nothing to make it happen. They do not know what they are up against.
Well the HEA is a given but the journey there is a rocky road full of heat and danger.

A great new Daddy/little series with a twist.
At first glance this is "Charlie's Angels" series except with five hunky Daddy, former military men, instead of three beautiful woman agents. We got the all-knowing, very rich, phone calling, secret "Charlie" coincidentally giving these six Daddies exactly what they need when they need it, and each man will get his new assignment in each book, while being aided by the other five men. The only thing missing is a "Mr. Bosley", and a little more background info like- are all these men and women, who just happen to be Daddies and Littles, without family and friends from their past lives? None of them were given a choice in this new life and team, and I assume they will all be making their homes at the resort as a secret task force? This story kept me riveted until the end. Looking forward to Book 2 and where this series goes.

The set-up of this series is so interesting, I had to purchase this book.
The book started strong and ended okay. It felt like the author rushed the ending a bit.
Because of the specific set-up of this story I hoped for an action counterweight to the sweetness of the dd/lg aspect. Sadly the climax depicted on page was only the first altercation and not the final, all-resolving one.
Also, there were a bit of discrepancies with the story or things that would have to be fleshed out to be more believable.
For example, the scene in which all the MMCs admitted to the fact that they were daddy Doms wasn't as momentous as it should have been. They didn't really ask themselves why not only a group with a certain skill set, but also a certain kink was set up.
And what was that last spicy scene.
Pls let's not use the word ooze.

Both of these authors, separately, are wonderful authors. When they get together and write a book for a new series, they are extraordinary. This story was so good and starts with Rocco being saved by a group of strange men. When his "marker" is called up several years later, the action really begins. I loved watching this whole story unfold and am tickled to get more stories from them in a genre I have come to love. Sadie has to be saved from discovering something she shouldn't have even seen and Rocco is the one who is her hero. Of course, when he sees her, he's thinking he might have found his Little girl. Their story was so good with lots of action, steam, and sweetness. I loved it and am really excited for more in this series!!!

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Rocco . I really enjoyed reading this story . Rocco Thompson was rescued from drug runners who were going to kill him . A team of four mask men came to his rescue . He was told your benefactor will collect a marker when the time comes . Two years later his marker was called . Rocco arrives at Danger Bluff Mountain Resort in New Zealand where he is captivated upon meeting Sadie the front desk manager . He and five other men find themselves a team who will protect the resort and the people there . Their first assignment is to protect Sadie . As they work together Rocco and Sadie grow close . This story is full of suspense and action packed with a bit of daddy dom romance . I recommend taking the time to read .

Wow. What a start to what is going to be a delicious sexy Daddy series. After reading how Rocco and Sadie got together and how he and the team protected her. Rocco was saved several years ago and was given a marker and a note saying he can repay the favor later. Well two years later he finds himself and 5 other men at a resort in New Zealand. That is when he gets a note saying he is to protect Sadie and when he first met Sadie he felt his daddy vibes kick in also. Their benefactor has everything at this resort they would ever need and the surveillance equipment it top notch. This team works very well together to save and protect Sadie. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series when they come out.

The first book in a new series by Peppe North and Rebecca Jameson, set in New Zealand. Another Daddy dom and Little story, Rocco and Sadie. Rocco was saved by a mysterious team and given a marker. Later when he gets a new job that includes his marker to protect Sadie. Sadie is trying to escape from her corrupt boss taking a job thousands of miles managing a resort. Rocco and his team of 5 are there working after their markers are called in. From the moment he arrived he knew Sadie was his little.
Now he just has to convince her, and that he can protect her.
I love the action and how each character is coming together in their assigned duties.
I can't wait to read next book in this series.

I loved this start to the new Danger Bluff series.
I have not read a book from Pepper North, I have not loved.

I loved Rocco and Sadie. Their relationship is fresh and new. Sadie is hiding, Rocco is trying to discover, along with the rest of the team, who their mysterious benefactor is.
The characters are beautifully written with great care and attention to detail.
The story is detailed and captivating.
I thoroughly enjoyed the character interplay.

Who is Rocco and what does he do for a living? Who are Janks and his five companions? Who are the four masked men in black and what coin is given to Rocco? Where do we find him two years later? Who is Sadie and what does she do for a living? What happened in her past that got her to where she is today? I really liked Sadie, instantly! Who is or was Lance? Why are Rocco, Magnus, Kestrel, Hawking, Caesar, and Phoenix doing in New Zealand? Things were very interesting and intense by the start of Chapter Four. That was an interesting meeting in the basement! Sadie is such a treat. My heart clenched every time Pushkin's name was mentioned. Loved the mountain climbing! The interactions between Rocco and Sadie were a hoot. I cannot wait to read Hawking's story next!

While I've read each of these authors separately before, this is the first time they've collaborated and it makes for wonderful reading. Yes, it's the first in the series but it can be enjoyed as a standalone, HEA but I believe your enjoyment would go if you continued with the series.
This book is a bit instalove but if you are willing to accept that, this is a lovely story with great characters. While it's very much Rocco and Sadie's story, I loved the interaction the other guys had with Sadie and their caring for her.
There is drama surrounding Sadie's past but the conclusion of the that takes place out of the story, which did leave me with a bit of letdown, but overall this is a great read and I'm looking forward to the others in the series.

Oh man, I did NOT read the description clearly on this one. I absolutely love romantic suspense so when I glanced at the premise I was excited to dive in. The book was well written and the characters were well developed. I think the amount of suspense was a little lacking, or maybe I was just hoping for more distraction from the Daddy/little aspect. I'm not a fan, my brain just can't compute that type of interaction. However, I refuse to knock a book because of my personal tastes and also don't like not finishing books. So here I am not really recommending the book, but I will say that individuals that typically like Daddy romances would probably like this one.

An amazing book about learning to trust.
Rocco and the other men who were called to the hotel to payback the marker that they were all given when someone came to all their rescues and saved them from different situations.
Sadie is running for her life and obtained a job at the same hotel even though she does not have all the requirements to be a manager of a hotel/resort.
Rocco is assigned to save and keep her safe but all the men will do whatever they can to protect her.
Loved this book and all the men in this series.

If you like intrigue, and romance with a Daddy then this is the book for you. Six men where saved and given a marker, they are to come when they are called. All six men where called to report to a resort in New Zealand, there new headquarters, and to there first job. This is when Rocco met Sadie and new she was his little girl. Not only his little but also his first job. He and the other five men are to protect Sadie for she stumbled onto something with the mob. From the very beginning I was hooked and wanted to know more. I was drawn into the story that I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book.

With this being a new series it was inevitable that we would have to get some introductions to all the characters that will be in it. With that going on through the first third of the book Sadie and Rocco's relationship fall to second place. They were so cute together I wish we could have gotten more time with just the two of them. Rocco is the most patient, caring and gentlest Daddy I've ever read. I loved that Sadie had a special bonding moment with each of the team members. Hawking was my favorite so I was so excited to see his book will be next in the series!!!

From the moment he saw her he knew Sadie was meant to be his. Now he just has to convince her that no only can he protect her but they belong together. I love the action going on and how the characters come together. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series takes us!
