Handbook for the Recently Graduated

Rate this book
Whether it's high school or college that you've emerged from, you've likely noticed that your adult responsibilities don't much depend on the featured content of your recent education. Shakespeare never bothered to explain what a Roth IRA is, and the sine curve won't tell you when to top off your transmission fluid. Don't panic. While these omissions are dire, they are far less numerous than they seem, and few exceed the complexity of your average long division problem. This book supplies the missing pieces along an expedited tour through life's unavoidable choices and challenges. Read on and rest adulthood is way more fun than people let on, and can be deftly navigated even without having the quadratic formula memorized.

Honestly, it’s fantastic. If you’re a comparative literature major this book *may* offend you, but as long as you don’t mind humor and profanity this book is the perfect how to adult while somehow not talking down to you. It sounds like you’re having a conversation with M. Monroe throughout!
