A single mom who’s sworn off men...
And a sexy doctor who wants to change her mind.

With my little girl in tow, I pack up my Texas roots, seeking a fresh start in Landmark Mountain. Leaving behind a trail of shattered trust and a cheating ex, the last thing I expect is to collide with a sexy stranger.

Our first encounter is a whirlwind of heated words and fiery glares. But fate's twisted sense of humor places him right in my path, not once, but many times over and over again.

Why does Dr. Wyatt Landmark have to be related to my best friend's boyfriend?

But Landmark has a way of softening my heart, both the man and the town. This place already feels like home, and Wyatt’s interactions with my daughter reveal a side of him I hadn't expected.

It isn't long before his small acts of kindness begin to chip away at the walls I've so carefully constructed around my heart. That, and the passion between us I can’t deny whenever he looks my way.

Despite swearing off love, the resolve I’ve had is stripping away as Wyatt becomes more irresistible by the day.
Irresistible is book three in the Landmark Mountain Series. Each book can be read as a standalone.

“I know she can ruin me.“

my kryptonite? small town romances. but mingling with these arcs makes them hit better🤭
・❥ single mom
・❥ he falls first
・❥ found family
・❥ new beginning
・❥ workplace romance
・❥ a bit of enemies to lovers

“you’re impossible,” she says, squeezing past me. “Irresistible, you mean.”

this book is the personification of cute. what I absolutely adore in romances with the single parent depiction is when the kid is involved in their daily basis. when the child holds a significant role in the storyline and is an important factor in the romance development. 'irresistible' distilled and played the single mom card brilliantly. i was literally enamored with the beautiful bond that slowly bloomed between the mmc and the little girl. he was a constant and steady figure in her life before even having a relationship with her mother or even liking her mother. the romance started off as enemies and then shifted to friends to finally morph into lovers. i loved how every phase was hilariously entertaining and well-orchestrated. all in all, it was an enjoyable read with an adorable found family storyline.

favorite part:
“mama, are you asleep?” Dakota whispers, her fingers prying one of my eyelids open.
the way i remember so vividly doing this to my mother, too.🤣🤣 i couldn’t not share this here because i hope i won’t ever have to face a similar situation.

many thanks to Valentine PR for providing an arc in exchange of an honest review.

no joke THE BEST SINGLE MOM romance 💋 and my second favorite book of the year 😻

maybe it was right book right time but there was something special about this book 🤍

it starts with Marlow and her daughter Dakota coming to Landmark(a small mountain town) after catching her husband in their bed with another woman😡 her husband was so useless and was absent most of the time so they divorced quickly.

Marlow's best friend Sofie lives in Landmark and in love with Theo(second book was about them) so here comes our hero Wyatt🌝 Wyatt is Theo's brother and town's lovely doctor.

Marlow and Wyatt meets when they were both having a bad day and they didn't get along🤭 it quickly resolved and they decided to be friends but the attraction was there😏

the things that made me love this book so much;;;;

1- Wyatt and Marlow admits having feelings for each other pretty quick but they decide to wait until she's divorced😌 even if the ex is a bad person i don't like it when the couple starts dating while one of them is married

2- Dakota🥰 she was a delight and i'm so happy that she got allllllll the love she deserves from this found family. Wyatt was the father figure she never had and their relationship was just so cute 🥺

3- Friendship and found family💕 Dakota and Marlow were alone so long and i'm glad they have the friends&family that they deserve 🥺

4- surprise pregnancy!!!! normally i'm not a fan of this trope but the way Wyatt was so happy without any hesitation🥺 i love this little family so much

MY FAVORITE SCENE

“Sweets, will you be my Dakota forever?”
Her mouth parts and she nods, her eyes still huge. “Yes.”
“And would you give me permission to marry your mama?”

WYATT LANDMARK THE MAN THAT YOU ARE!!!!! this man proposed her daughter first and gave her a ring and then proposed to Marlow🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 he's literally the BEST hero💖💕💞

🧿 no owd/omd, no third act, they were both celibate for a while and they used condoms🤪

“You already have everything with me if you want it, Marlow. I’m handing you my heart freely. It’s yours for the taking.”

"I love the relationship I’m building with your little girl and as long as you’ll allow me to be, I’m in her life to stay."

“We’re having a baby,” she yells at the top of her lungs. “My Wyatt and my mama and me!”

“I think…could we pretend you’re my daddy too?”
“Sweets, I already love you like you’re mine, and I will when that baby comes too. I’ll be whatever you want me to be because I’m your Wyatt forever and ever. Okay?”
“Okay. My Daddy Wyatt.”

(omw to recommend this book to my friends🌝)

This book was a sweet read, but nothing too exciting. The small-town, single mom story felt a bit cookie-cutter, and while I adored Dakota, everything happened way too fast!

Marlow goes from swearing off men to engaged in a blink. Seriously, slow down! Some of the dialogue was cheesy enough to make me cringe, and I kept mixing up the side characters. Overall, it needed a bit more time to bake!

Always here for a single-parent romance. Willow Aster writes the best kids in books. Little Dakota was one of the best parts about this book! I loved seeing Wyatt and Marlow fall in love with one another. They were fantastic together- a great read/audiobook.

MCs:
- Wyatt
- Marlow

Book info:
- Small town romance
- Forced proximity
- Single parent
- Enemies-to-friends-to-lovers
- Surprise pregnancy
- Cheating (not between MCs)
- No third act breakup
- HFN

Notes:
- Slight OWD. Wyatt's occasional hook-up got into town and called him. They agreed to have dinner and do other activities after, 'cause at this point he wants to do something about his growing infatuation with Marlow. But they bumped into Marlow and Dakota at the same restaurant. He was flustered after this encounter and he didn't proceed with his original plan. OW didn't appear after this.

Marlow and her daughter, Dakota, moved to Landmark Mountain after she saw her husband in bed with someone else. Her best friend, Sofie, helped with this relocation and made sure that everything will be accommodating for them.

Then Marlow and Wyatt had their meet-cute (or not) when she dented his car and this incident put them on a wrong foot. But since Wyatt is Sofie's future brother-in-law, Marlow cannot avoid him entirely and they have to see each other on multiple occasions.

They eventually cleared the air and became friends. Despite the fact that they're attracted to one another (obviously) they only flirted and nothing more. This is all they ever did until Marlow's divorce was finalized at 48%. The tension between them is palpable and everyone can see it and are onboard with the two of them getting together. She had some reservations because she didn't want to make the same mistake, but Wyatt put her worries at ease and he showed her that he's dependable and won't go anywhere. She did a little pushing, but that didn't last long since Wyatt is persistent and he knows she's it for him. Once she was officially single, they finally gave in to the attraction, and boy was it hot and intense.

This is light and fluffy, with little to no angst. I liked the found family and how everyone embraced Marlow and Dakota in their lives. There's no toxicity in this town and that's something I really enjoyed in my romance fiction. Everyone is supportive, thoughtful, and accepting and overall just heartwarming.

I loved Dakota, there's just something about kids in fiction that always warms my heart. This girl had everyone wrapped around her finger and she's just sooooo adorable. She's way too perfect honestly which made it a little unbelievable because she talks and acts like she's older than 4 years old, but that's probably a me case. I love her interactions with Marlow and most especially with her Daddy Wyatt, she's so precious and a happy kid.

As for the surprise pregnancy, I do like this trope tbh, but idk how to feel about that in this story. Marlow had a repeat of her previous situation and the only difference is now she has someone who will stand by her side all throughout this phase. For some reason, I didn't want this pregnancy to happen yet because Marlow and Wyatt barely know each other. I want them to get to know each other on a deeper level and to see the three of them as a family before adding another member. Not that they're going to be awful parents because I know they'll do their best for this baby. It's just that this news is way too early for their relationship. But I guess there's nothing I can do about that. 🤷‍♀️

Overall, this was a good book. The instant attraction between MCs and the pacing was a little fast but if readers want to read some light small town romance this will be perfect for them.

PS. There are a lot of side characters and this overwhelmed me even after I finished the story. 😅

✨️ Small town

✨️ Found Family
✨️ He falls first

I was so excited about this book; Landmark Mountain is one of my favorite series. This book exceeded my expectations. The number of times I found myself smiling while reading is too many to count.

Despite their initial impression of each other not being good, the chemistry between Wyatt and Marlow is undeniable, and I have to say that their interactions in Chapter 16 were among my favorites. It's truly heartwarming to see how much Wyatt cares for Marlow and Dakota, especially after she left a relationship that didn't provide her with that.

This book has the perfect mix of cute, funny, and steamy moments. 🫠

I love Marlow; she's an amazing character with whom I identified a lot. I have to say that we share the same thoughts about FRIENDS. 😆

Wyatt went far beyond what I imagined he would be, and I had high expectations already. But he went there and exceeded them. I love every scene of his with Dakota; seeing the two of them together warms the heart.

💞I loved every second I spent reading this book, and I highly recommend it.💞

*I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. *

I’m deep into my cozy reading and there’s not a series more perfect for fall vibes than this one. Being back in Landmark Mountain with the Landmark family is pure perfection and I was so excited to get a chance to read Wyatt’s story. We got a glimpse of Marlow and her adorable daughter, Dakota in the last book and I so enjoyed getting to know them more. It’s no secret that I’m a goner for a single dad in a romance but I have such a soft spot for a single mother too and Marlow was so fierce in her love for her daughter, their relationship was seriously the cutest. Wyatt falls first and good lord when this man falls for someone he falls hard. So swoony and when he called Marlow and Kota his girls I melted into a giant, teary puddle. Every time I finish one of these books I’m more in love with the town, the characters, the family and the charm. A must read for small town romance fans!

DNF at 32%.

I am super picky and this didn't work for me.

1. I LOVE enemies to lovers. But it has to feel real. And this didn't to me. She hits his car cause she's distracted trying to get medication for her daughter who has a really bad fever. He's feeling grouchy because he just lost a patient. Their interaction on first meeting is not good... but it kinda felt like "oh, he/she's hot but they are a big old meanie and I can't like them, but oh, they're hot". And all the interactions felt like that.

2. Too much instalust. See #1, above. When I get my enemies to lovers, I don't necessarily want them to be attracted right away and super consumed with how gorgeous the other person is.

3. Bad resolution of their "enemy-ness". There's a point where the hero tells the heroine (I'm paraphrasing): "I was mean cause I'm so attracted to you." Uh, what? I don't subscribe to the "boys make you miserable when they really like you" school of thought. I think it's total complete crap and I don't like that behavior in the "hero".

4. Nonsense about female relationships. "...any time females are thrown together, I've found it to be volatile." Uh, what? Yes, the heroine has an unsupportive family and she was in a lot of competitive situations growing up. But I find that women are super supportive and haven't heard of many non-fictional situations where women are so mean to each other. It feels like a lie that is perpetuated in media... and it sucks.

5. The dude thinks about other women AFTER he meets the heroine. He's SUPER attracted to the heroine and thinks "I need to get laid". He even sets up a date with an ex-bang buddy with the hope they'll have a quick fling so he can get some sex without strings. The ex-bang buddy wants a relationship so this dude is like "nah, we're not on the same page". THEN, the heroine and her daughter end up being at the same restaurant where the daughter asks whether the ex-bang buddy is his wife and he notices the heroine isn't wearing her wedding ring. It is only THEN that he decides, "you know, I don't want to sleep with this other woman".

Maybe this book gets good, but it's not for me. I cannot like the "hero" at this point.

ARC Review: Irresistible

This book was such a massive surprise in all the best ways! It’s my first Willow Aster and certainly not the last!

I loved this story, it felt like a great big warm hug. It was a healing romance, both leads amplified the best in one another while also opening up to each other's vulnerabilities. They became a beautiful found family whose story is one I will treasure.

The Leads

Marlow. First, can I just say I really love her name? Ok now that that’s out of the way, let me gush over how much I adored Marlow. She’s such a fierce mother with a soft, vulnerable soul. She and her daughter are healing after leaving behind the mess that is Marlow's ex-husband. The girls move forward to a new setting--a new home-- to form lasting roots. I loved how Marlow's est friend and her (the friend's) in-laws embraced the two girls wholly. Marlow was in need of family and found plenty at Landmark Mountain.

Wyatt. Whew! What a perfect man! Some may say too perfect, I say…why not? Let him be the ideal, perfect man real life seems to have a severe shortage of. Dr. McGorg has it all. A kind, loving heart, a brave spirit, a gentle hand, and a go-getter attitude. Once he realized Marlow was the one, there was no letting go. He fully and thoroughly loved her and her little girl. They became his girls and I swooooned the entire time.

The Romance

Needless to say, this romance melted me. After a bumpy start the tension between Marlow and Wyatt was unrelenting in how it consistently accumulated until push came to shove (or well, lips met to lips). Their chemistry, both emotionally and physically, was the stuff of swoons and faints. I loved their entire romance.

Too Smooth Sailing?

I mentioned how this book was like a warm embrace, and I love it for that…buuut it was almost too warm an embrace. I needed a bit more angst because it did feel nothing really ‘happened’ in terms of drama. It all made me happy! But I just expected a bit more oomph in drama. While Marlow makes a discovery that shakes her to her core by the time she (and we) find out, we know Wyatt well enough to not fear his reaction. So using that as angst didn’t work for me. Instead, I expected the toxic ex or toxic mom to make an appearance. I also desperately wanted the ex to give up his parental rights. So that fact nothing came from any of that was disappointing for my angst-loving heart. Truly the sole quibble I have in an otherwise gorgeous, beautiful book.

The End

All in all, I was most satisfied with this romance. It healed it, brought a smile to my face, and made me endlessly swoon.

Thank you to Valentine PR for providing me an arc in exchange for an honest review. 4.5✨

Book number three in the Landmark Mountain series, this is a beautifully romantic single parent romance that had me swooning madly.

Marlow is the best friend of Sofie (heroine from the last book in the series, Someday). She has just left her cheating husband, and packed up her life and her four year old daughter, Dakota, to move to Landmark Mountain to be near her friend and get a fresh start. But getting into a fender bender with a hot but grumpy guy is not the beginning she wanted, and things get awkward when they keep bumping into each other – he’s the doctor who treats her unwell daughter, he’s there when she applies for a new job, and it turns out that he is the brother of Sofie’s fiancé, Theo. Which means they are going to be around each other all of the time.

Wyatt Landmark (member of the core family in the series) is a dedicated doctor, and an absolute sweetheart. He is attracted to Marlow from the beginning, but she’s in the middle of a messy divorce which makes her situation complicated so he knows he needs to keep her distance. But the more time they spend together, his feelings only grow stronger, and he soon finds himself completely smitten.

I’ve never felt this way in my life.
Horny? Yes.
Up for a mindless fuck? Sure.
Obliterated? Never.

I want her smiles. I want her focus. I want to give her everything I have.

Wyatt and Marlow form a fun and close friendship that is the base for some pretty intense feelings, and when they finally have the opportunity to explore those feelings, the sexy time is explosive! But she understandably doesn’t want to rush into anything and struggles with the depth of her feelings. Wyatt is perfect through it all though – patient, thoughtful and honest, he allows Marlow her space, but never hides his feelings or what he wants.

“You’re making me so … So greedy for everything with you”
… “You already have everything with me if you want it, Marlow. I’m handing you my heart freely. It’s yours for the taking.”

OMG, everybody needs a Wyatt Landmark in their life! The man is sweet, kind, funny, brutally sexy and irresistibly swoony. He cares deeply and holds nothing back in laying his heart on the line, and I just adored him.

They have some things to figure out, and there is a little bit of drama along the way, but it’s mostly angst-free and functional, and a beautiful journey for them as they work through it all and find their way forward together.

“I want all of this with you. All of it.”

Central to it all is little Dakota, who is just adorable, and an absolute scene-stealer! I love to see a hero fall completely head over heels in love, and in this book we get to see it twice - Wyatt falls hard and fast for Marlow, but with little Dakota, it’s instant. She claims him pretty much immediately (she calls him “My Wyatt”… cute!), and the relationship between the two of them is so beautiful and a definite highlight of the story.

“I think…could we pretend you’re my daddy too?”
Can my heart be ripped apart and bursting with love all at once?

I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters, and loved this little family together so much. There is a beautiful epilogue to finish it all, and I look forward to seeing their story progress as the series continues on.

Such a gorgeous read. 4.5 stars.

Small town romance between a homeboy doctor and a woman who's just left her cheating husband. Marlow walked in on her husband cheating on her, with her four year old daughter Aldo unfortunately bearing witness, fed up and ready for divorce she leaves and her best friend comes to get her to move to Landmark mountain. Her first day in town turns however as she hits the car or the town doctor and her bestie's brother in law.

******
This was ok, the beginning was slow. Marlow was stupid in the beginning and annoyed me
Wyatt was stupid for feeling the draw to Marlow but contemplating hooking up with his once fwb, thankfully he came to his senses
When he finally acknowledged his feelings though he was all in
Tons of ppl I did not know because this was my first read in this series so I was lost a bit
Best part of this book for me was Dakota! I absolutely adored her little sweet self
Why won't authors allow the mcs to cut off toxic ppl? Seriously 😒 Marlow's mom needed the axe so desperately

No cheating
H had hookups but didn't seem to be a manwhore
He contemplated hooking up with OW before getting together with the h (side eye)
h is in the process of getting a divorce from her cheating husband
He wasn't around to cause any drama at all

Thank you to Valentine PR and Willow Aster for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The Landmark Mountajn series is quickly becoming an all time favorite for me. I seriously just love ever single character in this series so much. Marlow and Wyatt’s story was everything I wanted and SO MUCH MORE. First of all, I love a single mom story. Marlow and Dakota were the sweetest pair. I love how Marlow wanted to change the generational faults in her family with the way she raised her daughter. She put Dakota first in everything she did, while never had-mouthing Dakota’s father or the situation to her. I just thought Marlow was incredible strong and compassionate. I loved the way she grew throughout the book. Wyatt Landmark is THAT GUY. He may be my favorite Landmark sibling so far. I wasn’t expecting to fall for him as hard as I did, but he just blew me away. I loved how sweet and caring he was with Dakota. I loved how when he was all in with Marlow, he was ALL IN. I loved that he continued to check in with Marlow, take accountability for his actions, communicate, and allow room for emotions. Like he was just the gold standard of FMCs for me. The Landmark family as a whole continues to own a special place in my heart. Grinny and Pappy’s little interactions were really intriguing to me, and I have a feeling we are only seeing the beginning of whatever is happening there! I loved that we got to see more of Callum and Sutton’s personalities in this book and I can’t wait to read their stories! Overall, I loved this book so much! Amazing installment into an amazing series!

Can I get a round of applause for Dr. Wyatt?
He falls fast and hard for not only Marlow but also her daughter Dakota. Speaking of which, Dakota kinda stole the show here. She is too cute and innocent for her own good and has all the Landmark boys wrapped around her finger quite quickly.

This book was so sweet with a bit of a twist at the end. Overall so cute and so far my favourite in the series!

I am not sure what was going through my head when I started this one. I thought it was the first one in the series as I was reading it was clear that I didn't know what was going on with some of the side characters but still I thought their stories were in a different series. Then I finished it and realized it was the third book in the series. *face palm. Oops. All that to say, I guess this one can be read as a standalone but is better if read in order so you under stand the back stories of side characters better.

I struggled to get why Wyatt and Marlow were at each other so much in the beginning. It seemed a bit forced. But that ended pretty quickly and then these two were so super sweet and cute. I loved how all in Wyatt was with Marlow and her daughter, Dakota. And Dakota was the cutest thing ever. I adored her so dang much. This was a super sweet and cute book with low angst and drama. I devoured this book because I loved this little family so much. 4.5 Stars

Irresistible is the third book in the Landmark Mountain series. It is a single mom, small town romance, and a friends to lovers.

This is the story of Wyatt Landmark and Marlow. You met Marlow in the previous book and I really liked her! She is a single mom trying to start a new life with her daughter in a town that she just moved to.

Wyatt is a doctor and loves his job. He is so loyal and has a big heart. Wyatt will make you swoon and fall in love with him!

Wyatt and Marlow are friends and become so much more. Even though they don't start off on the right foot at first, they do become close.
Their friendship builds to so much more in this book.

I love this family and the world that has been created by Willow. I am so excited for more of the Landmark siblings!

I loved how Marlow and Dakota found a new family in Landmark which allowed both of them to be more comfortable and happy. This allowed Marlow to grow a lot as a character and Dakota was written as such a cute character you couldn’t help but love her. Doctor McGorg oh I mean Wyatt, lol, also had a lot of growth very quickly and the attraction between him and Marlow was hot. Even with one of my least favorite tropes this book was a hit for me and I didn’t want to put it down.
I can’t wait to see what happens next in Landmark.

Come for:
⭐️ single mom
⭐️ small town romance
⭐️ doctor mmc
⭐️ best friends/found family
⭐️ surprise baby
⭐️ he falls first

5 Star Review Irresistible (Landmark Mountain #3) by Willow Aster

Audio review :
I love stories set in small towns and this one ticked all the boxes for me. A love story which was an emotional roller coaster. A romance that drew me in and quickly had me hooked.

The chemistry between them was intense and the banter witty. Somedqy was a wonderful book and I cannot wait to read more from this relatively new to me author.

I loved everything about this book. The narration by narrators Samantha Cook and Jameson Adams brought the characters and story to life for me. They were easy to listen to and their voices pleasant.

I’ve been so excited for Marlow’s story since the ending of of Someday and wow did Willow leave me feeling all the things! I picked this book up and read it in one sitting! I absolutely adored Marlow, Dakota & Wyatt! The start of the book was so easy to get into with the “enemies” vibes Marlow and Wyatt were giving but I love how quick Wyatt was to apologize and make things right with Marlow. Despite their rough start, their chemistry was off the charts! I love how easy they fell into a rhythm with one another! The way Wyatt showed up for Marlow & Dakota, giving them both a reliable & steady friendship. Just swoony! I laughed out loud so many times & just adored this sweet, cozy, steamy small town read!

while I did love the characters and story the only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars was the ending felt like a little much. While i could understand Marlow & her feelings especially newly divorced I felt Wyatt was kept in the dark a little too long and my heart was sad that he was sad and scared he was losing her and couldn’t understand why. I do love how this book wrapped up and their happy ending. I am so excited for the next book & I love this series & characters so much!

Thank you so much Willow & Valentine PR for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

- Single Mom
- Found Family
- Small Town
- Doctor
- He Falls First
- Slow Burn

This is the third book in the Landmark Mountain series and it was so damn cute. I absolutely love a good he falls first trope and Wyatt definitely did. He was so smitten with both Marlow and Dakota I couldn’t help but swoon. This one is definitely lighter compared to the second book in the series. I loved every single character (except Cash obviously because ew). While I really enjoyed how lighthearted this read was a small part of me wishes there had been a bit more drama.

Either way I’ve become a forever fan of Willow’ Aster’s work and cannot wait to see what’s in store for Callum and Sutton!
