The HC Dairy Farm needs cows, and they have contracted local orphanages to send girls that are aging out of the system to their farm to work... but it's the kind of job Lucy is expecting. It's supposed to give her a fresh start in life, and it does that but not in the way she is expecting. When Lucy turns eighteen and is no longer a ward of the state she has to leave the orphanage that been her home for years. She no longer has a home, and with no plan for the future she's scared, but the owner of the orphange has a solution. Lucy can get a job at a dairy farm and the pay she is offered is too good to refuse. Once she realizes that she was lied to, it's too late for poor Lucy. She's stripped bare, restrained, and injected with serem that will change her into a productive hucow. The is Lucy's story of how she became one of the herd at The HC Dairy Farm.
2nd book in the series. This story is very similar to the 1st book, same story line just different girl. I would like to know what happens to thr girls at then like more of an end story to their life, but it has the same ending.
My mind is still blown after reading the second book in this series. The betrayal of these girls is so very bad. I know stuff like this happens irl and makes me angry, and sad. But in a book a fiction it just seems so unreal. Like it could never happen in a million years. I'm still fascinated by the programming these girls go thru. Its so unbelievable.
I rated this one a little bit lower than the first book in this collection ONLY because I heavily dislike main character death (all the hucows on the farm will eventually be put down which is something that I really dislike).

First of all wtf? second of all how do these assh*les keep getting away with this? At this point I just have to keep reading in hopes that one of these girls exacts some violent justice onto these perverts. Side note RIP to #37 you deserved better 💔
