Good insight in benefits of walking

Let me start by saying I walk a lot. My husband and I are in out late 60’s and walk every day. We walk 5-7 miles, and lots of folks think we are crazy. This book gave me lots information to justify our fitness choices. It also gave me tip I can use on adjusting stride length and the importance of posture. Lots of inspiration and great quotes. Highly recommend.

Was hoping for more specific information

So there’s good news and bad news. I was really looking for putting together a plan to overcome laziness, injury, proper diet, picking correct equipment and more. The book itself came across as way too general until I got to nearly 90% done and found the links to the reference material. So the book is moderately useful, but getting to the hyperlinks of reference is what you need.

why aren’t we all finding more ways to walk

This book takes you on a journey of preparing to walk through all things you could accomplish on the walk. Sometimes you forget that there is a universal exercise we can all do a little more of. Plan it out with a walk through this book based on preparation and terrain.

Excellent book on the benefits of walking

The best part of this book is the description of benefits you can receive through a walking regiment at all levels. There are even different types of walking you can do that fits your needs and makes walking enjoyable. Very well thought out and useful.
