Rian, accompanied by his wolf-friend Saz, is on a mission. To fulfill their task, the two of them must infiltrate the most magical, the most dangerous, the most fearful fort in existence, home of the maddest and baddest magician around.

Will an invisibility spell be sufficient to protect them from sentient statues, giant bees and the aforementioned wizard? Probably not. But hey, it's all in a day's work, right? Death before dishonor! Though dishonor is looking pretty darned attractive right about now.

K.G. McAbee has had a whole bunch of books and well over a hundred short stories published, and she considers some of them quite readable. She writes steampunk, fantasy, science fiction, horror, pulp, Westerns and creature horror. As they say: Write what you know. And if you’re into Lovecraft, she’s written more Cthulhu stories for various anthologies than you can shake a stick at.
