About the author

Angie Daniels grew up on the South side of Chicago, Illinois. At a very early age, she spent nights creating soap operas with her younger sister until the two drifted off to sleep. Never did she realize that her longtime dream to become a published author would someday become a reality.

In 1999 Angie decided it was finally time to return to her love of writing. She took a year off to write her first book Intimate Intentions, which started off as a simple romance novel and later escalated into 542 pages of romantic suspense. After two submissions, Angie was offered a four-book contract with Genesis Press and her first book was released in 2001. In 2003, she also signed with BET Arabesque, and Kensington's Dafina imprint in 2004. In 2006, she added Parker Publishing, Aphrodisia and Harlequin Kimani Romance to her list. In 2010 she will release her twentieth novel. Angie currently resides in Missouri.

Zanaa Reynolds is a wedding planner who’s heart has been broken by the betrayal of her ex- fiancé and a family member. To avoid the embarrassment of showing up alone for Christmas and her grandmother’s interference in her dating life, she fakes an engagement to her neighbor Scott Simmons, who owes her a favor.
Scott was sexy. He definitely captured my attention with his easygoing and optimistic attitude. I liked how he immediately admitted to himself that he was attracted to Zanaa and never denied his desire for her. I really enjoyed Zanaa and Scott together. He was definitely what she needed to help her relax, enjoy life and put an end to her judgmental behavior. Portraying an engaged couple was effortless due to their explosive chemistry which they wasted no time exploring. The family interactions was also a joy to see. They were very wealthy, and they enjoyed themselves. However, it didn’t eliminate drama and messiness. The grandmother gave some advice that I definitely couldn’t agreed with. I find that we do not need to normalize keeping toxic people in our lives, regardless if they are family or not. Being a family member doesn’t exempt horrible behaviors.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this story. It was sweet, fun and gave me all the fluff that I needed. Although, some what predictable, it didn’t take away from me swooning over Zanaa and Scott and the love they found in one another.

Love this laugh out loud page turner. A gentle reminder not to judge a book by its cover. Zanaa thought, by the number of women going in and out of Scott's apartment, next door, he was an unemployed man-whore! The look on her face when she discovered what he really did for a living was hilarious! I loved the way Zanaa and Scott were forced to examine their real hang-ups when confronted by their relationship issues from the past as well as confronting Zanaa's sleazy ex-boyfriend.

The Beaumont Series will have you HOOKED from the first book of the series to the last.... and you will DEFINTELY want from this author. I have read almost all of Angie's books and have yet to be disappointed......How about a story on Scott's brother and Zanaa's best friend........HINT, HINT......

Zanaa Reynolds is a successful entrepreneur with an annoying neighbor that she thinks is a gigolo of some sort. Clocking his numerous visitors and hours, she doesn't see him with a 9 to 5 and with his sexiness on full display, girlfriend has to secretly drink a cold glass of water. Scott Simmons loves the ladies and they love him even more in return and he has no problem with his lifestyle being that he is very wealthy...but there's more to Scott than Zanaa knows. Scott is secretly vibing off of Zanaa and uses his canine to aid and abet him in irritating her until they find themselves in each other's company and actually enjoying the camraderie. When Zanaa finds herself in a dilemma, will her pride and lust allow her to actually seek Scott's help when her senses are shrilling, DANGER!!!!

In Her Neighbor's Bed is a pleasantly pleasing read flowing with the perfect combination of witty dialogue, realistic doubts, scorching love scenes, family and romance to make you smile with a sigh. Ms. Daniels romantically spun tales are always satisfying on point in all aspects. Great job!!

This was a charming story, and my first read by this author.
I really enjoyed the beginning, and how the hero was "borrowing" the heroine's paper to get her attention. The story had the most adorable dog and I wished we saw more of him in the story.
I really enjoyed the small town/close family theme and the heroine's grandmother was a hoot - 83 yrs old and taking kick-boxing lessons.
I enjoyed how the hero and heroine got to know each other and their sexual chemistry between them was hot. But really was not into the "fake engagement" storyline as it seems like it has been used a little too much lately.

Zanaa was the middle sister to two slim and trim sisters and never thought herself beautiful because she was full figured. They first meet when she accuse him of stealing her newspaper and their attraction for each other begins. She is the only unmarried sister and her grandmother wants to see her married and has been looking for young men to introduce her to this is where Scott comes in Zanaa gets Scott to agree to a fake engagement so he can go home with her to Virginia for Christmas, this is the basic of the story the sex rocks and it all ends with a lovely wedding on Rehoboth beach. Very good read lots of both families interaction..

I liked it. The fake engagement is the only cliche I like. Scott was adorable, so was Zanaa. They both had their own skeletons to sort, but they worked it out eventually. I enjoyed how cheerful, optimistic, and refreshing Scott was. They were good for each other.

Scott was a bit outspoken at times, mainly during sexual situations, which there were a lot off.

Didn't love the story, but I certainty enjoyed it. Short, sweet, to the point.
