A textbook…but I read and enjoyed it! It was rlly well written without the cold academic ness to it, super informative as well

This book was required reading for a course I took. The material is interesting and the author is a decent enough writer that I occasionally forgot I was reading a textbook. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the complex and intertwined social issues facing our global society.
