This book was required reading for a course I took. The material is interesting and the author is a decent enough writer that I occasionally forgot I was reading a textbook. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the complex and intertwined social issues facing our global society.

Useful for my Diversity, Discrimination, and Social Justice course. Provides a good overview but does not delve deeply into any one topic.
