I really enjoyed this book. Cole is smitten but unsure while Macy is trying to make her own way. I'm interested in the back story of Hannah, Hunter and Macy.

Remember the duet that Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang at the Oscars and how everyone swore there was more to it than just a good song by two actors? Well what if it was sung by two country stars and it was everything we all wanted it to be and MORE?
Sunshine & Sass is that story and it’s as delicious as we all hoped! It’s a follow up of sorts to Scorching Santa. That was the second chance story between Hannah and Hunter who are cousin and baby daddy to Macy, the Heroine of this book.

This is the eighth installment to this multi-author series, told in dual first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. I’m a sucker for a small town romance and a rockstar romance. Let me say, this story did not disappoint!
I loved Macy and Cole! I loved the up and coming singer/songwriter getting the chance to headline for the rockstar idea. I loved that both, Macy and Cole, were drawn to each other the first time they laid eyes on the other and they didn’t know it. I loved their chemistry and ability to hold a conversation. I loved that Macy didn’t shy away from telling Cole how she wasn’t going to risk her happiness for him if he didn’t figure out what he wanted. I loved that he wasn’t afraid to lean on her friends and family for support. I could go on and on, but I don’t want to spoil it. Just read it, it’s worth it!

I love a small town romance and I love a Rockstar romance. When the two are combined, it's gold. The love story of small town sweetheart, single mom Macy and charming hot Rockstar, Cole. I really enjoyed this book, I read it in one sitting. It is low angst, but the writer pulls on your heartstrings with this book. Easy to read, smooth flow and oh the feels! I was invested in the main characters from the beginning. The spicy scenes were done tastefully and although not "fade to black", it is easy on the squeamish reader who can't handle the extra spicy. Me? Give me ALL the spice. This was a middle ground level spicy for both types of readers to enjoy. I loved both the FMC and the MMC, and their journey was so well written and engaging, I devoured the pages.

Cole is the Country Music Heartthrob with lots of charisma and media coverage. Macy is an up and coming musician that’s gotten a gig as a temporary opener for Cole’s tour. From the moment these two meet the sparks are flying and the music is magical. Macy is an independent single mom trying to make it in the music scene. She’s scared that what she feels for Cole is one sided and can’t possibly last if they decide to go the next step. Cole knows that Macy is the one for him but his past is stopping him from declaring to the world that they’re together. These two are great together. They have a connection that undeniable and they have you hooked on their story from the start. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love the world of Kissing Springs and the various characters that the authors have created. This book is another good one. It’s entertaining, captivating and fun. I enjoyed the romance and these characters. Cole and Macy are intriguing, relatable, captivating and entertaining. Their romance is fun, interesting and so fitting for these characters. I enjoyed all the secondary characters, especially Mason. I loved the one-on-one time Cole had with him. This world is a joy to visit.

Macy opens for Cole on the country music stage and then they have a one night. She does not expect much after due to his playboy persona, but that is fake and he sets his heart on her. She wants to make it on her own and will not let Cole promote her, but their relationship is growing stronger.
Loved the characters, their chemistry and entertaining situations. The storyline has a lot going on with drama, secrets, hidden agendas, revelations, steam, protectiveness and more. Loved the ending that felt so right.

Playing all the notes
Sunshine & Sass by Ellen Brooks is part of the multi-author Welcome to Kissing Springs: The Sunshine Season series. This is the second book I have read by the author so I am still getting to know her writing and storytelling styles. But with that said I thought this was a very enjoyable, engaging, and spicy hot romance about a single mom and a rockstar with the backdrop of a small town. I thought this was nicely written, had very likeable characters and an engaging story-line. I look forward to reading more books by the author in the future.

Cole is a country music artist who hires Macy his opening act. Together they are a great team on the stage and off the stage. But Macy is a single mom and with Cole's playboy reputation can she trust him with herself and her son? This is a fast steamy hot read and Cole and Macy are great together. Great storyline and wonderful story with a great HEA.

I love this story. Macy needs her big break into the music industry and she also wants to have a good time.
When she has an opportunity for a one-night stand with a famous singer, she jumps for it, but she ends up getting more than she bargained for.
The Kissing Springs books are great reads and I'd recommend them to everyone.

Macy is getting ready to be the opening act on a country superstar’s tour Cole Heartwood and when he hears Macy sing he’s intrigued and mystified because she has a beautiful voice but his manager gives him a subtle warning because Cole is known as a playboy and a heartbreaker. I loved this story and the characters this is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and I highly recommend this book.

I really liked Macy & Coles' story, he falls first and isn't happy that she left after their one night without saying goodbye. I did go back and reread Scorching Santa as I feel this glossed over Macy's 'policy' and it needed that background to understand Macy. Cole works hard to prove to Macy that he has changed and also ensures that she gets the recognition she deserves.

Macy has a great voice, and she has a great opportunity when Cole’s opening act singer goes down with flu and she is called to fill in for him.
Cole is a very famous country singer but also a playboy. However, when he meets Macy, everything changes for him.
This a very nice romantic story, it is quick to read and impossible to stop reading. I just read it in one go. Very entertaining and well-written.

What a good story and one that read well. We follow a single mother and a rock star. The storyline and the characters keep you glued to your book. There's some drama, fire, chemistry and attraction and romance. The hot and steamy moments were great. A page turner and highly recommended.

I enjoyed reading this book. To my opinion and my opinion only, this book should have been called Scorching Cole. WOW!! He was everything and more. He fell hard for Macy and wouldn’t take no for an answer. This book is my favorite so far. A sweet read with a happy ending

Cole is a hot artist in country music right now and Macy is his opening act. They have a night together but Cole can’t forget her but Macy comes as a package deal. Great story.

This is a fantastic read with love, passion, angst and ambition to make the story race past. It's a real page turner that I had to read in a single sitting. I was rewarded with a very satisfying hea.

This may be my favorite book in the series. Macy and Cole's story is riveting from the beginning. I could not stop once I started. Loved the characters, the story, the fun, the family, the love and the hope. Wonderful writing.
