Hello! Are you one of my Fated Ones? A reader destined to cross paths? I suppose you might be curious about the person behind the stories. Well, my first fantasy novel was printed in May of 2023 just 12 days before I turned 46. Yes, I'm Gen X.

I'm a dreamer, gamer, mom, nerd, awkward af most of the time, anxious, and I struggle with the whole marketing bit. What's wrong with just saying, "Hey, I wrote some books. Wanna read them? Oh, and are you old enough for most of them?"

See, awkward... I am who I am though. Since 2020, I've struggled and over the last couple years, I found myself. I'm still learning my craft so earlier books may not be as wonderful (naughty) as newer books. I welcome comments / messages on my socials about what you liked or didn't. Just know I fully believe that we all have different tastes.

Twists and turns. Strong characters. Phenomenal plot. Spicy spice scenes. This was perfect!

I don't read enough paranormal books these days but I'm glad I got to read this one in particular. Always check your trigger warnings! Some parts can get bumpy.

If I were to describe this book with one word, it would be MAGNIFICENT 🤩

When I saw a review that this book has many twists & turns, they weren’t kidding. The way each change flows into the next is so well done *chef’s kiss*

This is the 1st audiobook narrated by Paige Reisenfeld & she was so impressive. Female or male, each character was perfectly done ❤️

I love the story. You get romance, revenge, and a little bit of mystery. On the spicy romance scale, I think it is mild. Following Jenna on her journey of finding the truth about who she is is captivating. This is the first book in a paranormal/vampire series. I would love to see a bit more world-building within this series. Also, I wish the revenge scene would have been more of a in that moment (thoughts, feelings, actions) rather than a review of events, like a memory. Tanya, I want to live in this world; help me get there!

I really enjoyed this book! I love to see a badass FMC and I like that we got to see how Jenna came to be so badass over time. The author writes so beautifully and elegantly in the language of the time period in which the book starts and as decades go by, the way the characters speak changes with the times. This is something I think Tanya DeClercq did really well.

This definitely was a tough fantasy one for me…The first book within this series. If you love paranormal,vampires, werewolves, demons... Than this might be the one is for you…but but

I enjoyed this book but wish there had been more details in regards to Jenna’s time with Victor, her time with Marcus when they were traveling, and the confrontation with Victor. I look forward to book 2.

It is a fantasy world that I didn't want to leave. I felt as if I was walking with the immortal creatures as well. I happen to visualize everything, and the words disappears and the movie begins in my mind. Tanya DeClercq paints a very vivid picture through her writing. I look forward to reading her second book.

Read the trigger warnings before reading. It was a great story love the build up. It was an enjoyable read, I would live to read more from this author.
