4.5stars actually. Tie me down tight!

At Marley’s twenty-fifth birthday celebration she and her friends enter a pact to each explore something that had only lived in their imaginations before they each settled down in a traditional family scenario. This short was an unexpected pleasure as it followed Reed gently introducing Marley to the pleasures of the BDSM lifestyle. I liked both Reed and Marley and their chemistry together. Marley’s friends were also a hoot and both believably supportive and protective of her. If there was a fault it’d be with Reed’s friend Kole, and that isn’t a fair statement as you didn’t spend much time with him.

By the end I not only wanted my own Reed, I wanted to trade places with Marley. I’ll also be on the look-out for more of this series.

Bind Me is the start of a new series about four friends who make a pact to experience their fantasy while they are still young and single enough to enjoy it. The concept is great- the idea fun and entertaining with enough naughty to appeal to the little vixen in all of us ladies.

The BDSM here ranges from "Heck yes" to "you've got to be kidding". Let me try to explain what I mean.

On the good his use of implements is impressive - he seems to know his way around a flogger and a crop (and a butterfly but that doesn't take too much know how). He definitely knows how to give a girl an orgasm...and she has a major G Spot orgasm the first time he uses his fingers. That's surely a fantasy as some women don't even have those with trusted lovers. I was suitably impressed with his ability to make her cum over and over and over. Sweet!

So that was good. The writing and dialogue itself are pretty good - though a bit stilted at times in trying to find a balance between formal and informal - casual and protocol.

Moving on Marley thinks she will like bondage - and Reed likes rope. He is portrayed as good at it (an expert even) yet his ropes cause her to not only lose her circulation but to have what is likely to be major marks from them due to her struggling. I could be reading it wrong but that is what it appears to me. The latter (marks) not as serious of course but for a beginner it did not seem wise. He constantly checks her pain level but fails to check something that is, in all respects, even more dangerous - circulation. I wanted to tell him "Screw the pain level..she'll get over it with a bruise or a welt" but loss of circulation can cause major issues. At one point he also hits her while angry which didn't serve any purpose really (other than make me question Reed's capability as a Dom).

Before they meet at the "Castle" (clever name BTW) they have to have background checks and STD results - and the rules say if you are a member of the Castle playing you cannot have sex outside of it. OOOkkkk...it is a fantasy and I can go with that (though it is weird to me)..but then she meets him before the scene and he is holding a BEER bottle. Now I had a moment here because I was never quite sure if the Castle Dolce Vita is supposed to be a fantasy club, a BDSM club, a sex club, or what really. She requests wine and he tells her he prefers his subs not to drink before a scene. Yet he does. And let's be clear - most BDSM clubs don't offer alcohol - though as noted I'm not sure exactly what the Castle was supposed to be. However since they were going to engage in BDSM play I held that club (or at least him!) to the BDSM standard of NO ALCOHOL. I would NEVER play with a man who had been drinking. Drinking impairs judgement and can be very dangerous. No one is getting near my body with ropes, implements, clamps, or anything else that can cause damage if their blood alcohol is in any question. Perhaps if you've been playing together a long time you know what someone can drink and still make wise decisions but this is her FIRST TIME. Had I been Marley I'd of done enough research to know that drinking AND bondage don't go together (in spite of many teenage boy fantasies!) and I'd of said "Call me when you haven't been drinking". Casual reader or seasoned BDSM lifestyler - my expectation is that the person whom I am giving control of my body over knows what he is doing. What should have happened here is she should have called him on it and he should have been man (and DOM!) enough to recognize his failure and admitted it. Try again tomorrow. OR cleverly he could have said "that was your first test" and given her the alcohol and BDSM lecture - never play if your judgement is impaired. (Side-note: This BTW includes any form of impairment whether alcohol, drugs, severe emotional distress, etc).

Then there is all the "I'll excuse this for this time only" language from him on account of her being new. Oh how magnanimous of you dude. Way to introduce someone to the lifestyle. Positions, orgasm denial, pain management through breathing. It is like trying to live the lifestyle in one night and that was the other point that just didn't feel right to me. I think the book would have been much stronger if it took place (the scenes) over a 3 day period like a weekend - or if the implements were just used a bit (and not to orgasm each time). Hope that makes sense. I couldn't shake the feeling that he was a Dr. with his tray all set up ready for him to grab the next implement/toy. The way he taught her to breath was also different than what I've observed in play situations. I'm not a medical expert and it could just be the people I've been around or classes I've been too but no one has ever said hold your breath to me. Breathing through the pain yes - holding my breath bracing for impact no. It also confused me because at one point he made sure to tell her he would never give her what she expected but then shortly after he's telling her to hold her breath before he hits (so that means she would have to anticipate that right?). I got confused. I could be misunderstanding breath play here - but I always interpreted that as the Dom cutting off the subs breath (like when face f'ing or chokehold)?

However, fitting it all in one night is likely due to the fact this is a not a full length novel. It would have benefited greatly from being so as there could have been drawn out scenes - using two major implements in one session is not exactly beginner play time. I mean I could barely process how quickly it went - never mind how Marley must have felt. Definitely not herself - and any decisions she would make for several days would have to be really examined. You need time to evaluate and examine and think about things. Wham B'am thank you m'am can end up in some pretty negative situations for a submissive. I can tell you in my personal experience (IRL) you need 24-48 hrs at a minimum to process through a scene and go over it. Before that it's still too fresh and the feelings too raw and elemental.

However I suppose some of this would not bother the casual reader of BDSM who just enjoys a fun kinky romance. SoI figured I could go there in some ways because it is a book that centers on one night primarily. I can suspend belief.

So then what happens

Although there is a bit more pain in this than others I class as more sugar or glitter kink I feel like those who like the sparkly BDSM that is erotic fantasy vs. lifestyle reality or romanticized BDSM would enjoy this one perhaps more than me. I do not find it easy to ignore major BDSM no-no's like drinking before a scene and having circulation issues with bondage. Perhaps those who do not know better would be more likely to overlook these things. I admit my standards are exacting - perhaps due to being a BDSM participant lifestyle wise. I would definitely pick up another book by the author but likely one of the other genre's she writes.

I went into this thinking that this was the first time I'd read this author, but sitting down to write the review, I actually find it's my second time for reading this author. Both times have not been memorable experiences for me.

The premise intrigued me, and that's ultimately what's going to keep me coming back to the series, because each story sounds interesting in its own right! That being said, what will hamper it is the extremely short nature of these stories! I felt that there was a lot that was just glossed over and it detracted from the story. I really felt like the relationship jumped forward by leaps and bounds and I really wanted a lot more detail than what we were given.

Characterization was actually interesting, but again, a lot of detail was just glossed over, making it hard to form a good idea about the characters and their backgrounds. I have to say, I do like Marley from what I saw of her. She reminded me of myself and that made it extremely easy to connect with her!

All things considered, I'm going to continue to read the series, but I'm also really glad that I picked it up on a freebie sale. It didn't have quite enough characterization or plot for me.

BDSM Erotic Romance
Publisher: Loose Id
Level: Sizzling
Release date: May 29, 2012

The Pact of Seduction has one rule—fulfill your ultimate fantasy. Bella’s problem, she can’t live up to her vow. But her failure spins events that lead her into unknown territory. Kole, a Dom at the sex club Castle Dolce Vita, wasn’t part of her fantasy, but he’s about to show her he should have been.

Kole is more than willing to introduce Bella to BDSM since he’s held an interest in her for some time. But the feisty woman isn’t easily tamed and her strong personality proves to be difficult. While she might be determined to keep him at a distance, Kole has other ideas. He won’t allow her to shut him out.

A pact between best friends brought them together, emotional barriers tear them apart. Kole skillfully reminds Bella through pleasure and punishment that she is now his submissive, and her place is under his command.

I am not into BDSM, and yet I enjoy reading erotica about it. Hmmm, Does that point to some repressed fantasy? Am I a secret submissive. I don't think so.

Each of these linked stories is about self-knowing and having at least one place you can express yourself. In this case it's an exclusive club and at home.

Now, I also totally don't get submission. But that's me. From what I have read, Submissives get pleasure from being submissive; they trust their dom to know what is best for them. "I don't get it" means it would not work for me. There are a lot of people out there for whom it does work.

These stories are enjoyable. It's a rush to read about someone realizing the heights of pleasure as written by Ms. Kennedy.

They are too short for much in the way of character development and due to the short format the relationships feel rushed. There must be some rule about the length of erotica because this is a common issue.

In the first story, Marley is seeking to give up the type of constant control and decision making she works with every day. Her friends and their pact gives her (and the other women) each the permission and support to live that fantasy most people die repressing. In the second story we find that the fantasy we think we have we really don't. Some fantasy is better in one's head than it is in reality.

In both books, good attention is paid to safe sex -- something I find in most erotica.

How accurate is the representation of the relationship and the sex here? I can't say. If there are readers out there who have read these and can speak to the accuracy please share. I'm pretty sure Ms. Kennedy did research but I don't know what type (there's everything from being in the lifestyle to looking at a blog). There are a lot of people in this lifestyle who offer classes and there are books. The stories strike me as fantasies of what this lifestyle is like in the same way we idealize anything in a fantasy. Ms. Kennedy is writing a hot fantasy at many levels: some sexual and some playing into a luxury fetish most of us can appreciate.

The relationships here are also pretty respectful; regardless of lifestyle choices, humiliation doesn't work for me, nor does reading it.

In both these stories the reason's each of the women is submissive is clear. Both have to do with being the strong, tough person or the one making decisions all day. For their sexuality to be realized they want to have a break form that requirement of their vanilla lives. I suspect, again, that the short format mandates the simplicity of that reasoning and that in actuality, like most things human, it is more complex.

So, I was compelled to read these both in short order, one after the other. They're both hot. They both have characters who, while not well-developed due to format, are still interesting. Looking for a hot BDSM fantasy that many of you will find exciting but not scary? These books may be just the ticket for you.

Have you ever had a sexual fantasy that you’ve never had the guts to share with anyone? Well thats what this book is about. Four best friends getting together for a special Girls Night in to celebrate one of their owns birthday. So what a fun and executing game to play, but to indulge in a little fantasy role play! These friends each write down their deepest. Darkest, private fantasy and promise to partake in the fantasy beginning in Pact of Seduction.

Reed Tsk- Tsked: “Oh sweetheart I see doubt in those eyes. Doubt I do not deserve. He lowered the crop. “Have I not earned your trust and proved to pleasure you?”

This short but very sexy novella centers around the birthday girl Marley and her first experience as a Sub at a BDSM fantasy pleasure club with the fierce Dom Reed. This lucky birthday girl will live out her fantasies that include pleasure, pain, orgasms, floggers, vibrators, bindings, and a whole lot of smut. Luckily Reed is the perfect Dom because he’s sexy, cares about the well being of his sub and takes his job of pleasing his Sub seriously. I found that to be such a favorable trait and he’s definitely the kind of Dom I would prefer as well.

I recommend this for someone looking for a short 60 page read with plenty of sexy scenes for the erotica lovers as well as BDSM for the pleasure and pain seekers. At the end you’ll want to watch the other three friends carry out their secret fantasy. The next book Beg For It will have Kole as the Dom for one of Marley’s friends and I’m a bit anxious to read his book because he’s the exact opposite of Reed. Where Reed is sexy, gentle, pain with pleasure pusher, Kole seems to be frightening, forceful, and full of pain with no pleasure so I’m curious to see how his story will play out.

Looking for a dom who has a special interest and talent with ropes? Reed definitely knows how to use them, as well as other toys and props.

The general idea of this story is 4 friends feel their life is a bit boring and they make a pact to live out their wildest fantasy. Each of them writes down what they want to do and then they draw straws to see who goes first. Marley has to go first, and she wants to be dominated.

They conveniently found a sex club where she can experiment in a safe environment, and Reed zeroes in on Marley. He wants to be the one to introduce her to the lifestyle.

Reed has been burned in the past. His last relationship with a submissive ended up almost two years ago and he hasn't really wanted to be with anyone at that level since. But things change with Marley and he sees the possibility for a future. And that terrifies him.

Reed does push the envelope a bit, at least for me, of pleasure and pain, but for the most part he is pretty sexy. His friend Kole on the other hand, scares the hell out of me. LOL

I can't help but make one comparison while reading this book though. This is basically the same premise as a book I enjoyed Wild, Wicked, & Wanton by Jaci Burton, minus the sex club. But I am looking forward to what the other friends will want to be getting into!

The Pact of Seduction series is about a group of friends who live together and make a pact in which they pick a fantasy they have always wanted, and they live them out. Bind Me is Marley’s story. Marley is a school teacher and she is tired of always being the one to give the orders. She fantasizes of a relationship where someone gives her the orders. Reed is a criminal lawyer and he lives the BDSM lifestyle as a Dom. Finding himself in need of a sub, Reed answers an ad placed by Marley.

I really loved the main characters. They were so good together, Marley being a natural submissive. In this short story, we get to watch their Dom/sub relationship grow into something much more. We get to see a lot of emotional growth between the two.

This is the first story by Stacey Kennedy that I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing and I was drawn in from the first page. She has the ability to create an emotional yet very steamy read. If you are a fan of erotica you can’t miss out on Kennedy’s stories!

I thought this was a great novella. It was short, but still sexy with some great BDSM scenes. I liked both Reed and Marley, but like with most novellas I read, I wished for a little more length to get into the characters pasts a bit more. Other than that this is a really good short story for when you're in the mood for a fast, sexy read. I'll definitely pick up book 2.

With the big hype of Fifty Shades of Grey it seems everyone became aware that such a subgenre of erotic romance as BDSM exists. So if you are new to this sub-genre you couldn’t have found a better to story to initiate you to this world, but even if you are a seasoned BDSM reader I’m sure you’ll enjoy this story.

Bind Me is a short novella of just 63 pages, and the first in the Seduction Pact erotic series which tells the story of four girl friends who make a pact of spicing up their lives and realizing one of their most secret fantasies.

“What do you mean a pact of seduction?”
“Exactly what you think I mean. We each have to fulfill our hottest fantasy. You know, the one you’ve always wanted to do but never thought possible.”

Marley, Bella, Kyra and Sadie after some liquid courage spill their darkest sexual fantasies and then draw sticks to determine who shall go first and realize it. Since Marley draws the shortest stick Bind Me is her story. As Marley is a teacher by day, her secret fantasy is relinquishing control and being the one obeying rules for one. She dreams of being dominated and trying out BDSM. With her friends egging her on she enters the BDSM scene through garnering a private invite to Castle Dolce Vita through a forum announcement. The dom who responds to her message is none other than Reed who is instantly intrigued by Marley’s introduction, even more so when he spies her photo. He wants to introduce her to the BDSM scene and after Marley complies with the rules they arrange a meeting.

(By the way I found the rules the Castle was operating with ideal and very reassuring (“all participants must sign a waiver form to insure privacy will be kept while at the castle. No cameras allowed and no videotaping permitted. All participants must provide a clear STD and AIDS test and a background check to the members they’re involved with before they are allowed to engage in sexual acts. And lastly, when members are involved in club life, they’re not allowed to engage sexually with anyone outside of the castle”).)

What made me like Reed immediately was the fact that besides being an incredibly charismatic and handsome man he was most gentle and considerate. And no, I don’t mean he was a gentle dom, when they entered the scene he was a true dominant alpha male taking charge of everything and not tolerating any opposition.

"Marley dropped to her knees, comprehending his statement. His gaze said it all; he now controlled the moment, and she understood what he meant about the difference between in a scene and out of one. A moment ago, he’d shown no signs of dominance, but here Reed was her dom. Not to be questioned, and by God, she relished his control."

But he was most considerate: he wanted to determine Marley’s limit and never forced her to do something she was not comfortable with.

"His thrusts picked up the pace, and she noted that even though he told her to accept him in deep, he was being careful [...]. Trust. Yes, he’d push her to a point where it’d test her, open new doors for her, but he knew how much she could take and wouldn’t go past it."

He is fair, controlled, thoughtful and honest. He doesn’t play games and the straightforward way with which he approached their arrangement made me trust him as well since I knew his purpose was Marley’s pleasure and self-discovery.

“Yes, I have a typical life outside of the castle walls, but my personality isn’t different. I am who you see now. The scene created for you is more about you than me, anyway. I’m merely there to bring pleasures into your life you’ve never experienced.”

"Reed squeezed his hand tighter around her face in a show of domination. “Last night you gave yourself to me and I accepted you. It would be my honor to show you more of what the submissive role could bring to your life.”"

Marley was a very likable heroine, one the reader could identify with as she was the epitome of ordinary girl next door.

The sexy scenes between Marley and Reed were sizzling hot and in my opinion portrayed perfectly how a dom-sub relationship is about much more than just sexual dominance:

"Every time he wound the rope, his hands trailed against her skin, and being already sensitive, it only teased her. She wanted him to look at her, needed that connection and approval, yet he never did. He seemed too focused on the ropes. For the first time, Marley got a taste of what BDSM was really all about—the want to do right by her dom. Through all of this, past the orgasms and the pain, she felt a soul-deep need to please him."

Since this is a romantic erotica Stacey Kennedy doesn’t leave the reader without a HEA, but I think she managed to find the perfect balance between making it romantic and realistic. And it was lovely and satisfying to see the way Reed showed how it is possible for an alpha male like him to be, besides being a dom in the bedroom, a partner in a relationship:

“Are you saying you want to date me?”
“That’s the idea.” Date, love, dominate—he wanted it all.

What I loved the most about Bind Me was how realistic and credible everything was. The whole story, the setting the way things unfolded as well as the characters’ reactions were 100 per cent. believable and real, which is a rarity in BDSM stories.

Verdict: Bind Me is the perfect introduction to BDSM as it contains only light BDSM elements, features a most considerate hero and has a romantic storyline as well. Every girl curious about BDSM should get such an initiation as Marley did, but if you are less adventurous you can still get a taste thanks to Stacey Kennedy’s story which was both realistic and very hot. The narrative flew smoothly and I loved how believable everything was. Bind Me is just the perfect introduction to the BDSM genre!

I give Bind Me 5 stars!

I was a little upset to know I purchased this book twice as it had been reissued and I do not recall seeing that in the description. I enjoyed the book, it is a fun read as 4 women get together to have their fantasies and make them come true and hope to ge them out of the rut that they have gotten into.

I had such high hopes for this because I was such a huge fan of the Club Sin series. But alas, I am so mad at this book. First of all it was $3.99 which I normally don’t mind if the book is good. However, I read this book in ONE HOUR. $4 is steep for one hour of fluff.

The plot.. had potential but honestly was so poorly strung together with Insta love that was just too unbelievable for me.

Sighhh where were these friends before I got married. I would've loved to be part of this pact... to be free to explore and not be judged. To find a man to take all control onto his hands.. yes please.

This was a quick read but a hot one! The girlfriends make a pact to try something new. Marley accepts a night at the BDSM club with Reed. She submits perfectly to him but that connection scares him. I loved the HEA and I can’t wait to read more of the series.

Honestly, I was a little bit disappointed with BIND ME. Looking at that gorgeous, very suggestive cover and unique synopsis, my expectations were pretty high. But I think the main reason why I didn't like it that much stems from me recently reading a mighty awesome Erotica-Contemp-Romance-light BDSM book that I highly recommend it to all romanceaholics (FIFTY SHADES series!!), I absolutely loved it so much so that I'll probably compare all the other Eroticas I'm going to be reading from here on out. So this book didn't quite make the cut for me.

A Brief Summary

Marley and her three other friends are bored with their lives, thinking it was time to fulfil their innermost sexual desires, no matter how sinfully wrong it was. Each of them took turns to 'fess up, they picked lots, and Marley had the "good fortune" to have at it first. And as it turns out, being a teacher always in command has made her want to relinquish that control to someone else, and thus, she opted for a BDSM one-nighter.

Reed's just handed his recent Sub who clearly has higher tolerance for pain than what he's comfortable with meting out to his friend, and is looking for a new one. He check through the club's forum for candidates and chances upon Marley. He's turned-on at the sight of her exquisite beauty, and accepts her request immediately.

Little did he know that this naturally submissive woman with dark hair and pale skin would cause the barriers around his broken heart to come crumbling down, and little does she expect to actually want something more than a one-night stand...

Thoughts

BIND ME was a short novel, more like a novella that I thought was a little rushed. There was some hot sex, but you don't just heal a man with a ravaged heart through lust and orgasms. That was the crux of why I didn't like BIND ME. There was no development in the romance between Reed and Marley, and no effort on Marley's part whatsoever in trying to overcome Reed's emotional barriers other than act the role of the submissive - which is pretty much lying on some surface that's probably not the bed bound up nice and tight. Conclusion's a little cheesy as well.

I liked Marley. She's cool, pretty, and when not being a Sub, she does stand up for herself. Reed is.....odd. Haha, not to say that he's not a good Dom, he's plenty good - his methods are erotic as hell (BDSM style) - but the contrast between his broken self and Dom is a little too intense. His Dom self is confident and self-assured, but the other side... He's all insecurities and jitters.

I can't say much about the plot, cause there really isn't much to go on about. If you take my above summary, add in a few sex scenes, that's pretty much it. The sex scenes were plenty hot - yes, that I can assure you - but the rest were mediocre. It kinda made me feel dirty after reading it. :/

Oh well, if you're looking for a quick, erotic read, BIND ME's the one for you. It wasn't bad, but I guess I won't be delving too fast back into this series.

After a night of fun, four best friends make a pact to help each other achieve their deepest sexual fantasy. Drawing straws decides the order the pact will take place, with Marley getting the shortest straw.

Marley’s fantasy is to be dominated. She is a school teacher and in control of everything all day. Letting go of the control, being punished, but also being pleasured are her fantasies. Tie her up and spank her bottom, that’s what she wants. Marley’s friends sign her up on the Castle Dolce Vita website, describing what she is look for and needs in a Dom.

Reed is a Dom at Castle Dolce Vita, a sex club catering to various sexual needs. Two years ago his heart was broken by his submissive. While he has continued to dominate, he hasn’t had sex with any submissive in all this time. He has become bored with the monotony. When he sees Marley’s post, his body and mind come alive as well as his cock. Contacting her, he sets up a date for a scene with no intention of it going any further. Playing Marley’s body like a violin, Reed must decide if he can get past his own limits and open up to the possibility that he might love again.

Squeeeeeee! This was one hot book! The pact was a little corny, but I can see that each book will be hot based upon what each woman’s fantasies are. Marley was fun to watch. The pact made her nervous, but when the night actually comes to fulfill it, she doesn’t back down. Nervous or not, she is going to get what she wants. She is a strong submissive, but a natural one as well. Listening to Reed, she follows what he says and when she doesn’t she learns her lesson fast. Reed is a little harder to read. He loves how responsive Marley is. Gets into her beauty and natural grace, but he holds back not wanting to get involved and have his heart torn out again.

After the scene, there is a blunder on the part of Reed! I wanted to smack the shit out of him for running. No matter what happens, Doms do not run away after a scene just because their emotions are jumbles…just imagine how Marley felt.

He does redeem himself, but I find it hard to forgive a Dom…but I guess he was overcome with emotion like everyone else.

Most of the book takes place at Castle Dolce Vita which sounds like a very wonderful place to go to. Too bad it is fictional and by invitation only. So take my invitation and try out this wonderful first book in the Pact of Seduction Series!

Last month I read and reviewed my first book by Stacey Kennedy and immediately fell in love with her writing style. She just takes over and bends your mind to her will and immerses you fully into her story, so when I saw that she had a third book coming out in a series called Pact of Seduction I immediately asked for them to review. I’m so happy I did because Bind Me allowed me to watch as a young woman explores her secret fantasy of submission. The Seduction Pact was made between four friends whose lives have been less than thrilling, they decide to each write down one of their fantasies and then they will each fulfill it.

First up is Marley who wants to be dominated and tied up. I consider this book BDSM light, it is a Dom working with someone new in the lifestyle and teaching her how to serve and how to let go and experience the pain and pleasure she wants and needs.

I really enjoyed this story, the pact the girls make and then how they set out to help Marley fulfill her fantasy was entertaining. Reed was the perfect Dom for Marley, he likes his dominance, he likes binding, and he enjoys light pain play so I felt they were a good match. Marley easily accepted what was expected of her showing her natural submissiveness but again, this was pretty light play. While I liked Reed he did make a crucial error but the fact that he knew it and took steps to correct it proves everyone makes mistakes and owning up to them is crucial in this type of a relationship.

While I am thoroughly satisfied with how this story played out and the ending, I really would have loved more background on these characters and spent a little more time with them both in and out of scenes and in and out of the bedroom. This is a very short story and it left me with questions that I hope will be answered in the upcoming books. No matter what Bind Me is a good story; the writing is excellent, the characters intriguing, and the pact plot completely fascinating. I’m enthralled enough by this first book to be on the edge of my seat waiting to read the next two and hoping she writes the fourth one fast!

Four friends, a pact and sexual fantasies come together to create a whole lot of sexy. Bind Me, Book One of the Pact Seduction series, introduces us to best friends who want to fulfill their darkest desires.

First up is Marley, a newly minted twenty-five year old who wants to discover what it’s like to be dominated by a man. Although slightly hesitant, she realizes she can’t back out of her promise to her friends once it’s been made. Not to mention she’s eager to explore her submissive side with a man who makes her heart race and her blood boil. Thankfully the dominant who responds to her ad is all she needs and more. Reed is gorgeous, in control, and wants to introduce Marly to the scene. Despite his determination not to fall into a relationship, there is something about Marley he can’t deny. Together they explore desires and test limits. When the night ends will they move on with their lives? Or will they take a chance on something more?

Bind Me introduces you to the protagonists of the first book while setting up future stories in the series. This aspect is intriguing, as is the promise of future fantasies brought to fruition. There is a lot to look forward to, especially if a reader is drawn in by a particular fantasy. The setup is promising and the characters that will appear in future books are carefully introduced. Sadly, the first book in the series never quite hit its stride. The primary problem is Bind Me is written with a lot of tell and little show, making it difficult to connect to Marley or Reed. Sexual tension ramps up the heat, but heartfelt emotions fall short. That being said, the sex is steamy. Reed is more than willing to initiate Marley into the world of BDSM, and Marley is only too happy to explore her submissive side.

For those who enjoy sizzling hot erotic romances, Bind Me is certainly worth considering. The foundation of the Pact Seduction series will undoubtedly prompt readers to return in order to learn what happens to Marley, Reed, and her best friends.

A fun, spicy and hot novella! A great read for many BDSM lovers. Especially for those that enjoy a great scene with a visible connection that may lead to a happily ever after relationship with a Dom and Sub.

Four friends (Bella, Marley, Sadie and Kyra) decide life is not exciting enough for them, at all! In fact they are extremely bored with it. So one evening while hanging out and having a few drinks for Marley’s 25th birthday it was decided they make a pack. A Pact of Seduction.

Reed is one of the sexiest Dom’s I’ve ever read (lol). He’s so confident, sexual, tender and real. He’s not afraid to admit to his mistakes or apologize for his wrong doings. He has a life and makes a living outside of Castle Dolce Vita. But needs, no craves more. When he pulls up the clubs web page and finds Marley’s application. He knows right there he has to have her. Not even having met her yet and she does things to him that he so desires.

Marley teaches for a living. She is accustomed to giving orders, laying out the rules and putting people in their place. She would LOVE (for once) to give another person control and be the one under said control. She wants to know what it’s like to totally let go of control and be controlled and dominated. She’s fantasized many times about that very scenario and now thanks to her friends and their Pact of Seduction she has the perfect opportunity to let loose and be seduced! I like Marley and can truly relate to wanting to let loose all of that hard held control even briefly and feel free!

We can see from the very start even before they met one another that Reed and Marley would just click. They both knew what the other wanted and needed without ever being told (with a few exceptions of course). But I'd say these two are as kismet as kismet gets.

No one ever likes to draw the short straw. But I believe Marley is oh so very glad she did!

I look forward to the next in the series and hope the rest of the ladies make out as well as Marley did ;)

I had wanted to win this novella so very badly, and I did!! So thank you very much to Bitten By Paranormal Romance and Stacey Kennedy!!
This was a deliciously naught novella. Marley and her friends have decided life is boring. So one night while hanging out with eachother, they make a pact. A pact of seduction. They each tell a fantasy and promise to fulfill it. Then they draw straws, and Marley’s is shortest. She goes first.

Marley’s fantasy is… BDSM! So they sign her up online at a website catering to the lifestyle. That very night Reed (or should we say, Master Reed) has given up his sub to another Dom so that she can get what she needs – already proving he is a sensitive (yet Dominant) man. Reed goes onto the same site and its lust and need at first sight when he sees Marley. He contacts her right away. She is as blown away over the phone and by his picture as he is by her, and they make plans to meet.

Marley is new to the lifestyle and you can feel that as she waits in her car and then screws up the nerve to go into the sex club where they are to meet. Then there’s paperwork etc etc. But Reed puts her at ease, she isn’t embarrassed or nervous. She just wants to please him.
I really enjoyed this story. It had the steamy bdsm sexual activity.

There was a strong sense of duty, of doing right by the sub and by the Dom. You even get a little something more than lust, but I’m not going to tell you what! And really, anything beyond this point is a spoiler. But I definitely recommend this to anyone interested in adult reads, erotica, or BDSM. You will not be disappointed!

I'll start by saying that not only did I read this book for an upcoming tour that I'm participating in for the second book in this series, but I read this during the Doin' It Dirty Read-A-Thon hosted by On a Book Bender. Oh...what a fun day that was. A full 12 hours dedicated to reading good smut. Gotta love it. I selected four books to read and this book was among the best of the group.

This short book is about a group of four girlfriends who want to live out their sexual fantasies before they settle down. The idea was intriguing. Marley is the first to go. Her fantasy is to try the BDSM lifestyle. So, she heads off the Castle where see meets Reed. Reed has selected Marley specifically, not only fulfill her fantasy, but to fulfill his need to find a good sub. Do I sound like I know what I'm talking about? Yes, I've read books that involve BDSM, but this book dove into the psyche behind it. I found it pretty interesting. Not saying I'd be on board with it, but it did make me understand it a little better. (I think I would be a Dom. Just sayin'.)

As for the sex...it got my heart rate up for sure. Reed is smokin' hot and Marley was more than willing to try "new" things. The sex and BDSM was graphic and I had a very clear vision of what was going on. LOL It was pretty steamy.

Overall, I liked the characters and think this will be an interesting Erotic series to continue with. I'm anxious to see if all the girls end up choosing BDSM as their fantasy. The second book in the series is called Beg For It. My review for that will post next Saturday. This series is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a quick sexy read.

My Rating: ★★★★

Book Description:
Four best friends embrace their fantasies and make a pact of seduction to live out their deepest and darkest desires. The women place their lives in the hands of fate and one short straw declares Marley will be the first to awaken her secret wishes.

Reed, a Dom at sex club Castle Dolce Vita, has lived the BDSM lifestyle for awhile, but has yet to find a submissive that suits him. That is until he meets Marley, a woman seeking to indulge her fantasies.

As Reed guides her through a night of pleasure, Marley brings more to him than a perfect submissive--she stirs emotions in him long ago lost. By binding Marley, he runs up against his own limits, and now he has to choose between his self-protective barriers or surrendering to the wildfire Marley has reignited in his heart.

My Thoughts:
This was a sexy and steamy read. This would have been a five star read if it was a bit longer so that the reader could understand Reed and Marley as individual characters a bit more. Ms. Kennedy mentions Reed's sub but we don't understand the hows/whys of her departure and why it made him close down in future D/s relationship. But, as it was, I really enjoyed the story and the interaction between Reed and Marley. She was trusting and he was demanding but he recognized a good thing when it slapped him in the fact and he went after it and her. A perfect rainy day read.

My only issue with the book is that it was 63 pages and $4.19. A very steep price for such limited content.

Reading Time: approximate: 4 Hours

Read this review on my blog! --> Book Travels

The book start at Marley 25th birthday and she’s happy with her life but a bit bored. After some drinks are poured Marley and her three best friends decide to make a pact and fulfill their darkest fantasies. They share with the others and will help each other, Marley was lucky and she is the first.

Marley is a teacher and wants for one to be controlled as in a light BDSM adventure. That’s how we came to met Master Reed. He is a Dom in the Castle Dolce Vita club, a very exclusive environment to help people with BDSM life. Master Reed was looking for a new sub and came across Marley on the club forum website.

I liked how these two fit perfectly. She wanted a taste of this life and he’s an expert on light BDSM, but I felt so sad for him. After his girlfriend and sub broke their relationship two years ago, he never found a women that could touch his heart and fantasies. Marley does that and even more. Master Reed is a bastard for a short time but he come to his senses really fast and the end was sweet and sexy.

This was a novella that really entertained me. As a BDSM fan I could understand the plot and loved the characters personality. Now I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released.

Looking for a BDSM story that actually has some BDSM in it? Well here you go! Stacey Kennedy delivers a short novella that will totally have you panting by the end of it. In just 63 pages we get introduced to a lot of sexy things, ropes, floggers, spanking, vibrators and a very sexy dom.

I love how this story starts off. 4 friends who are bored and make a pact that they will all try their most fantasized sexual desire. Without them pushing and helping each other they might never do this. Every girl could use a group of friends like that. Marley is the first one up and she has fantasized about being a sub. They find a sex club and that is where the magic happens.

Reed opens a whole new world of pleasure for Marley and Marley turns out to be everything Reed was looking for. The sex scene was intense mixed with a lot of pleasure and pain. The pain level never went too far though, Reed seemed to know exactly how much she could take. And after several orgasm's in one scene, well I think we can trust him. It seems though that not only do they like each other in the dom-sub relationship but they might even have more there!!

If you are looking for a good hot sexy smutty good time then Bind Me is definitely something you should read. Just remember its not all roses and candy we are talking ropes, floggers and vibrators!! And I loved it!!

This book is the first in the Pact of Seduction series. In this story we meet a group of women who make a pact to live out their fantasies. We meet Marley and Reed in this book. Marley’s fantasy is the first to be enjoyed and she wants to try her hand at BDSM. Marley soon finds herself in Reed’s capable hands but is their love meant to be or is it too much to ask?

While I enjoyed the idea of the pact that the women made, I found it hard to connect with Reed and Marley. They lacked emotion and made this a flat read for me. Their sex is hot and flows well but the spark that they share doesn’t come to life for me. I really liked Reed and Marley and would have liked a bit more depth and emotions from them outside of the club without sex being the main objective.

Although this story was not a favorite of mine I have read and enjoyed other books by this author and will be looking for more in the future.
