The first time I stole something was on a dare.
I was fifteen and reckless, determined to prove I could be a bad ass. My best friend Jody dared me to take a pack of gum from the Handy-Mart. In retrospect, I’m surprised my bumbling effort didn’t land me in jail. It was hardly a covert mission but I did it.

Well, this was interesting. This was a very quick read.
At first I thought that they would run to an hotel or his house, but no! They were too busy for that.
I liked his name, Dominic "The Dom" Ramirez.
This book left me curious for the next book. If you are looking for a quickie you should read this.

This was a very short story set entirely around one sex scene, which I was ok with. Going into this read knowing that it was as short as it was told me immediately to not expect a lot of story or plot line, which was a good assumption to make since we aren't introduced to the characters more than to know that Dom is a BDSM instructor and our female lead is a 9-5 business woman with a naughty streak.
You are immediately introduced to a very sexual woman who happens to get the most "enjoyment" out of stealing. Nothing else can turn her on the way stealing can. Until she meets Dom on the train.
There really isn't any story here for me to be able to review but here are my thoughts on this one long sex scene:
* VERY hot and steamy! Had me going immediately.
* I never thought I would actually enjoy the voyeurism/exhibitionism themes but it completely went with the pace of the situation and I found it very enjoyable.
* Had my x-rated fantasy wheels turning!
* The one thing I can do without in these kinds of stories are the anal play.
I have nothing against it, it's just not my cup of tea.
* This short enticing read made me instantly want to go get the rest of the Madame X stories.
* This was my first step into the BDSM themes of Erotica and while there are still some things I am definitely good without, this story made me want to branch out a little more to see what other goodies are hiding within this genre.
If sex with strangers, domination/submission, anal play, and/or voyeurism/exhibitionism themes make you uncomfortable than this is not the read for you. But if you're looking for something hot, steamy, and naughty to get you into the mood then look no further!

Well, I certainly am glad I didn't look at this book's rating before picking it up - because it is highly likely I would have never picked it up. This was super short as indicated in the blurb...but it was a freebie that served as a teaser or the series. in very few pages it defenitly did its job! I was hooked and I wanted to know more! I will definitely be checking out this series.

Bravo!
I was looking for something short and sexy. This was it. In very few words, the author managed to create meaningful characters in addition to a plot which made me think "it could happen." :) The sex was hot and well-written. Definitely kept me entertained.
As the description stated, this is a super short story despite the large file size. Beyond the story is an excerpt for another work in the same series. I didn't read the excerpt, however. Like I said, I wanted something short, and Stolen did it for me.

This was a freebie from Amazon. It was OK, I suppose, for something to read for an hour maybe, but there was practically no plot and even the steamy bits weren't exactly smutastic, more kinda meh. I did, however, really like the first person writing style, without it, the story would have been pretty much totally flat.

I just cant wrap my head around how this book would ever ever work in real life. I found it to be like a cold bucket of water over my head, I thought the sex scene was vulgar and beyond unbelievable.

Stolen by Jinx Jamison
This story was just a couple of pages, a tease if you will, but it gave me a glimpse of the writing style of the author. I liked it enough that I'm going to look up more books in the Madam X School of Sex series.

This was a real quickie...
A nice teaser for what is to come. Unfortunately, I was attempting to read this while reading Seduced in the Dark and it just wasn't working no matter how short it ended up being.
If you looking for a hot and steamy quickie to get your fix then this will do the job. Veronica is an attractive young woman that steals just for the hell of it– actually it gets her off. She isn't prepared to meet her match one evening when she's on the train and sits beside her new target Dominic. A quick rub and flutter of the eyes has Veronica's head spinning and off her game to swipe his wallet. But determined as ever, she makes a last attempt to snatch his wallet and disappear. Funny how things work when you least expect it. Shuffled amongst the crowd when exiting the train she stands face to face with the attractive target and confronted for her bad deed. Despite the urge to cut out and run she pushes the bounders proving luck is on her side when Dominic happily agrees to take her punishment through a steamy sexual encounter that leaves both party temporarily sated and interested in more.
To bad this short flick ended before we could learn more about the Veronica and Dominic and what was to become of the two.

I stumbled across this quite by accident in the Kindle store and was hooked from the first sentence. Don't let the short length or other reviews fool you. This is one HOT read.
Jinx Jamison's characters are well crafted and instantly engaging. What I love most about her writing style is that she doesn't bog down the story with unnecessary backstory. In a story as short as this, it's important to bond quickly with the characters, and Ms. Jamison has achieved that with her wonderful writing.
The ONLY reason I gave this four stars instead of five - and I realize this may be a very minor quibble - is the wardrobe malfunction that occurred just in the middle, when the Dom's pants were unzipped twice in one scene. It wasn't a big deal, but it did jolt me out of the story a bit, and I had to backtrack to make sure I'd read correctly.
I love that the sex scene took place on a subway platform. Original and hot. I must know more about these characters, and will definitely check out the rest of this series.

To start, I want to mention that this is a short story and it is a bit of an introduction to the characters that appear in the series. What I thought was great was that #1 it was free for my Kindle, #2 it was really well written, and #3 it gave me an idea of what the author(s) could do! I gave it four stars because I don't appreciate that it ends without much closure, but hey, they are trying to entice you to buy! If you are looking for a nice stand alone story, I recommend One Sexual Season - in the middle of my quite ordinary life

At around 15 pages this is only a very quick read but it's a great introduction to the author's Madame X School of Sex series. If you're looking for a fast but steamy read and don't mind reading about a voyeuristic encounter between two strangers then this could be just what you're looking for. You'll be able to finish reading it in less than 10 minutes but for a freebie it is a good way of deciding if you want to carry on with the series.
The kindle version includes excerpts from the next book in the series and from several other stories by both authors. It's a great way to try before you buy and I'm planning on buying at least a couple of the stories to find out what happens next.
Don't pick up this story expecting a full length novel or even a novella or you'll end up disappointed but for what it is I found it an enjoyable read.

I started (and finished) this last night in the hopes that some 'light' and 'fluffy' stuff that was easy on the mind would end the recent reading hiatus I've been on.
Needless to say, my choice could do with a little reviewing in itself. But what hot blooded, honest woman can't say she hasn't read books with women in red underwear on the front cover...?
As for beyond the front cover, I was disappointed to find only a fifteen page story, if that, but the steamy scene that played out was a treat, albeit a short and sweet one.
I can't rightly say that it was a realistic scene... but who cares about realism when you're half way through a slightly domineering public encounter.
Besides... it was free for Kindle! Cheap thrills!
Can't say I'd recommend it but if you have it on your e-reader already give it a go... there are far worse things you could be doing with twenty minutes. ;)

This was a quick get in get out story. Literally. This woman gets turned on from stealing things but when she gets caught stealing from a hunk of a man she met on the subway, she is nothing but delighted. He wants nothing bit to punish her.... with sex.... on a subway platform. Very unrealistic and just wrong. Especially the guy watching them. But I did find myself blushing at some parts. There was no way I would ever do that on a subway platform. I just couldn't. And if I saw something like that, I think I would just start dyng of laughter.
On that note, it was a quick fun read. I'll definitely read something else of this author. As long as it's free. I like free stuff. No it does not turn me on. Ha!

Ok. This little steamy novella got my attention. In 15 pages, I already like the characters. Veronica is an adrenaline-thrill seeking kind of girl. Dom looks all business, but control and pleasure is what he is after.
These two meet on the subway where Veronica is going to make him her mark. She gets off on stealing and his wallet is next. But she hasn't anticipated his ability to give her any even greater thrill than an adrenaline rush.

i enjoyed this short fairly well i would have liked to see it fleshed out more so i could better judge. im rapidly losing faith though in any bdsm erotica because they all seem to exhibit the same (what is to me) flaw. i can get into the pain and dom/sub parts but too many of them leave a nasty taste in my mouth because the guys rarely show any respect for the women. i know its possible in real life (through experience) and in fiction(i.e dare to believe by donna marie bell) so i would just like to see authors maybe try a little harder in this aspect. it doesnt have to be a cheesy happy ever after thing but just some tenderness at some point so i dont feel so gross after reading [end rant :P]

3 stars for being well written, and a big giant BOO! for being nothing more than a teaser. This is not a standalone book. It's a collection of excerpts from a half dozen or so separate books. I can tell that the author writes well and can write a damn hot sex scene, but I don't know whether or not he/she can develop a fully-realized character arc and plot line. If I have time, I may go purchase one of the books, but not before I've read through the other *complete* stories that other authors promo'd.

First I have got to say,
This is not a book... It is not even a novella... It's a freaking chapter! If I had spent even pennies on this, I would be irate.
It was hot, yes.
It was intriguing, ok a bit.
But a story?- not even close.
Then it was a bunch of preview crap. I am sorry, but I despise that nonsense. If I want a preview into a book, I'll look for one. Please don't add to something else. I am less tempted to read it just because I am irked that it took up space on the story I actually wanted to read!!

Ehh...sorry, this in no way enticed me to want to read the actual series. I honestly didn't even care enough to read the sneak peak that was featured right after this. I don't consider myself a prude by any means, but this to me was just trashy. I couldn't care less about the main characters and their erotic scene was not even erotic for me, but rather had me thinking of how filthy getting your freak on in an underground subway station would be. Just...yick! No thanks.

It's really just a few pages of one hot and dirty scene of strangers having sex on a subway platform. The point was to be sexy and arousing and it worked. Not sure I love the writing style of this excerpt since I detest first person POV. But it was still good.

There is a short story and a sample of the Madame X book in this ebook. I enjoyed Stolen, the short story: Klepto girl steals from the right guy, gets caught and ends up having raunchy sex with him. It was nice and steamy. I wish it had been a little longer. I even liked the Madame X School of Sex excerpt. I suspect this short story was just a way of promoting the other book, and if so, it was successful promotion. I do plan to look for Madame X.

As a short, erotic story, this one is good. The sex is HOT, and as a prequel to Jinx Jamison's Madam X School of Sex series it does it's job. If this story is any indication of what's to come in the first book of the series, Seducing Sarah, I'm sold.

Ok, I've never read erotica. So this short story would be the first foray into the genre for me. And all I can say for this story at least is, it is quite weak on plot. But that may be par for the genre.
The plot it did have was cute.... if cute is appropriate for this story. But it is all of about ten paragraphs and the rest is sex.
I may give the genre one more shot, but really, there just wasn't much there.

I enjoyed my read, and it accomplished its goal- it left me seeking more! The sex was extremely hot, and left me eager to read more. Sadly, that isn't to be in this story, but it hooked me enough to download more! The characters were remarkably developed for such a short story, and it lacked the huge grammatical errors you see all too often in erotica. Definitely a must-read if you want your sex short, steamy and sudden!
