This is the second book in the 'Wyoming Warriors' series.
The 'Wyoming Warriors' are descendants of space aliens that visited earth in the past. These people have some enhanced abilities (stronger, hear better, see better, etc.), but are mostly human.
If you don't read Book 1 (Commando Cowboys Capture Their Mate) before this one, you won't know who a lot of the characters are, and the back-story to all of this.
There is a set-up for a Book 3, and these first two were entertaining enough that I will buy it, too.
I also like the romance and action to the story... it's not all just smex (and no BDSM).

Ethan Stanton was not sure why his best friend and brother Justin refused to take the newest assignment, but one glance at Morgan O'Malley he knows she is their mate. They just have to decide if she is a spy or an innocent victim, but the answer to the looming question is quickly resolved when Morgan is drugged at a party.
Morgan dated Justin briefly until he left without a word. Justin felt Morgan was too classy to fall for a cowboy like him. Ethan knows no matter what he is not letting her go, now they have to decide if the three of them are willing to take a chance at having something special.
I didn't like this one as well as the first one, they don't really get into what they are too much and Justin flies off the handle at times which creates confusion for Morgan.

I liked this one better than the first. There was something more in this story. We still have hunky cowboy warriors with special abilities but I think their story was more intriguing.
There was something about the chemestry between this characters that drew. And also Morgans background and her family, who made her who she is, and the reason Justin saw her as not fitting in and lashing out to protect his heart.
If this series continues this way I'll definitively read it all. And I AM curious as to who are the two big bad elusive guys.

Justin and Ethan and Morgan
Morgan is a really sweet lady. She is tough and just needed some love and patience. I wanted to smack Justin several times. But Ethan was great the whole time. Very good installment.

I love this series. Each book just gets better and better. I love how some of the characters from the other book showed up in this one. Morgan was my kind of gal

An interesting concept that I wish had more detail behind it. Load of steam. A super hot sexy read!
