Rate this book
Όταν η εικοσιτριάχρονη Μάντι Χέιζ μετακομίζει στο Στόνι Κρικ για να εργαστεί στο Κέντρο Αποκατάστασης Άγριας Ζωής, πιστεύει ότι η ζωή της είναι σε καλό δρόμο μια δουλειά των ονείρων της, υπέροχα αφεντικά και συνεργάτες, και ίσως ακόμη και αγάπη. Η ζωή της αρχίζει να βγαίνει εκτός ελέγχου όταν οι εφιάλτες που υπέφερε ως παιδί επιστρέφουν και τη στοιχειώνουν στον ύπνο της. Τα φρικιαστικά όνειρα συμβαίνουν μόνο κατά τη διάρκεια καταιγίδων - και η περιοχή βρίσκεται στη μέση της περιόδου των βροχών. Στα όνειρά της, η Μάντι βλέπει μια νεαρή γυναίκα σε τρομακτικές, όλο και πιο βίαιες καταστάσεις- είναι σαν να καλεί σε βοήθεια. Ακολουθώντας έναν επικίνδυνο δρόμο, μπορεί η Μάντι να λύσει το μυστήριο των ονείρων της - ή θα γίνει θύμα κάποιου πράγματος που δεν έχει ακόμη καταλάβει;

The vivid nightmares that used to haunt Madie Hayes as a child have returned with a vengeance. But she’s determined to understand what they mean even if her stubbornness puts her in harms way.

Chelsea Grey is learning to trust again, and her rekindled relationship with her high-school sweetheart has moved to the next level. But an unexpected circumstance and her stubbornness threatens to alienate her from him at a time when she needs him most.

Storm Dreamer is the final book of The Crossing Trilogy. With new characters and old, this story did not disappoint. June V. Bourgo pens a wonderful story about two strong and independent women who find themselves in life-altering situations. Well written, this page turner leads to a satisfying ending.

While this book can definitely be read as a standalone, I recommend readers start with book 1 to get the full experience of this intriguing trilogy.

Storm Dreamer by June V. Bourgo, the 3rd book in The Crossing Trilogy, is a murder thriller unlike most in that genre. In our modern times, the subject of past lives is becoming less mythology and more fact as people, whether through regressive therapy, or other means, pull back the veil on former lives they have lived. In this case, a young woman is plagued by nightmares her entire life, the image haunts her so much that with the help of a therapist they soon discover a shocking revelation about who she was and how she died in her former life. Madie Hayes, driven by the knowledge that she was murdered, goes after the man who did it, a man who is still alive to this day. Not only a thriller, but one that taunts the reader to consider another paradigm, one where the vestiges of our former lives remain with us, and moreover, opening the forum for a new discussion.

OMG

This story had a lot in it and some wonderful thoughts about reincarnation. Why in the world then, did you have to put the small paragraph about Cody's penis being too lage. Did you want to pulling the x rated readers. Do you have fantasies about huge Denise's. It devalues the rest. Sex is part of a great relationship and I'm no prude but a really good sex paragraph is more to many readers than a huge punishment. Which does not always mean good sex. It's not the size of the boat but the motion of the ocean.

Read all three!

This series is wonderfully written and an excellent set of stories. The building of the families over time is very well done. Start with Magnolia Tree and read in order b/c the timeline is important.

I know this has been published for years but I sincerely hope that the author has gotten a much better editor.
