I was happy with Luke, or at least, I thought I was . . .
The problem was that I had been with him for so long, I hadn’t realized my standards for men had fallen to the floor.
And then when I caught him with his receptionist . . . well, I decided to take my life—my pleasure—into my own hands.
It was my first Valentine's Day being single in years, and I wanted to make the best of it. Even so, when my best friend pitched to me the new club downtown, I was hesitant at first. But when he told me women got in for free, I was sold. It sounded like the perfect idea.
You get over one man by getting under another, right?
That one reckless night should have been just that. But the silver fox that had given me more orgasms then I could count had invaded my mind and was all I could think about.
It wasn't until an office party, where my ex decided to show up and the two of them finally ran into each other, that I realized the silver fox who had come along and picked up all my broken pieces was also Luke’s father.
I should've felt embarrassed or humiliated for what I'd done, but the only thing that crossed my mind was. . .

---Ain't that the truth!!!!
Amelia lives with her fiancé Luke. Their life has become stagnant, working hard for their future means long hours and little alone time. But when Amelia catches Luke with his receptionist, SHE IS DONE! She kicks him to the curb and never looks back. That is until one silver fox steps into her life.
It was supposed to be a one time thing. "Get over a man by getting under another". But this man grabbed her heart with no intention of letting go. But fate has a funny sense of humor. She learns that the man who swooped her up and picked up all of her pieces is actually...Luke's father!!!
"I should've felt embarrassed or humiliated for what I'd done, but the only thing that crossed my mind was. . . He's my daddy now."
---This was the first age gap romance I have ever read and I didn't mind it like I thought I would. I would sometimes personally think its kind of weird, but this was written very well. I was hooked from the beginning. It stinks this is a novella and not a full novel! I would have loved to get more of their story together! We also all need a friend like Jax in this story!! No shame in any game in this novella.

The Catalog: FM, ex’s dad, age gap (44x25), fast burn, one weekend to more, spoiling, Daddy Dom vibes
Synopsis: Amelia decides to have a weekend of meaningless fun after she catches her fiancee with his receptionist. What she doesn’t expect is to fall fast and hard for an older man that wants nothing more than to worship the ground she walks on. Little does she know, her new Daddy happens to be her ex’s dad.
Thoughts: A cute, spicy, quick read! It’s great for the vibes; I think this would make a great palate cleanser or a quick read for goals / end of the month.
The Daddy vibes were fine, but I honestly think they could have taken the kink further.
This was a quick and steamy read that I actually enjoyed very much. Yes their relationship was very insta love but again this was only 100 pages. Luke was an ass and I’m glad Mel stuck to her guns a let his pos ass go. And Daddy Elias 😮💨🥵🥵 that man knows his dirty talk. My only gripe is I wish we could have more of this couple.
Instalove for sure, but it’s super short. So. Yeah. There’s a plot, but it’s flimsy. It’s established at the beginning and basically only there to have a reason for the spicy scenes. Which is fine. That’s why this exists.
I mean the title says it all for this review. Loved it. Perfect little quick read with all the ingredients for a steamy romance with that good ol’ comfort HEA. Will be absolutely buying a physical copy of this bad boy for sure!
Loved this quick book! I don't usually read spicy stuff but the plot kept me interested the whole time. I wish there was another book because I want to know what's going to happen to the characters next
That was a well paced, hot AF age gap, and the plot was very decent! I loved the story and characters! The author is an amazing writer! I couldn’t put this short story down! I can’t wait to read more by her!
This was such a steamy read. It was refreshing to read a story where they don’t want kids (or any more in his case). I really loved how her best friend Jax meddled but in good ways, he was a true friend at heart.
i knew what this was, like 100 page spicy read i knew what i was getting into, but it still fell flat for me, the spice was spicing but the relationship felt odd, like I didn't believe they cared about each other. and this is coming from an angle of i ADORE insta love 🤷♀️
I feel like I shouldn’t have loved this but I did anyway. Elias somehow made using daddy in the third person sound hot which alone deserves recognition.

CreedReads Review:
I loved this short story, novella! I could have kicked Luke in the you know what for what he did! But…the author did an amazing job with making sure karma did her due diligence!
There were several points in this story that gave me “The Working Girl” vibes! One of my favorite movies!
And for all our smut lovers, there is a super funny scene about a double-appendaged dragon named Sol, and how Elias is determined to re-create some moments for Amelia, like being chased and ending in a very good time!
Too bad this rendezvous is brought to a screeching halt when Mel’s ex-finance, Luke, walks into his office…yeah that’s where they are. I’m not giving anything away, it’s titled “My Ex’s Daddy”, literally, he walks in saying “Dad?” It’s freaking fantastic!
Needless to say I really enjoyed this super soaker roller coaster ride! *wink*
