On a personal level, my favorite work of literature from the collection was "Thumbprint," by the accredited author Joe Hill. Without spoiling anything, the piece of literature is about a girl who's returned home from war, but still faces the battle scars where she lives. It's horror and thriller jam packed into a wonderful short story. Every thumbprint that was received emphasizes the story growing by peak, getting more thrilling and chilling as the story continues on. The reason why it spoke to me so much in a personal level is the fact, I'm an avid fan of fiction where the past comes back to you haunt you, and enjoy seeing the consequences that are put forth. Also what makes this story so wonderful is, you feel the tension coming out of the pages after you get lost in the story. That is when you know a story is good and worth reading!
If you don't have this short story collection in your personal library or inventory, then you are surely missing out on a great set of tales. Each story brings new life to the horror genre, and you will not regret it buying it. The collection is however for ages 18 and up, and should be read with discretion any lower, due to the violence and horror present in the stories. Even the cover art of the collection leaves a chilling spine-tingling sensation, while viewing into the man's eyes. If you want to read a story for those dark, rainy, lonely lights, with a candlestick lit ablaze as your own source of light, then "Postscripts #10" is definitely for you!
