I got a lot of useful techniques and ideas from this book. Deduction for teaching grammar=gold. It doesn't get five stars because culture is relegated to a single short chapter of heroes and holidays.

I got a few good, new ideas for student engagement and a handful of ideas for teaching some of the basics. Worth a read and to keep on the shelf at school.

Chock full of great games for the foreign language classroom. Useful the day I bought it. I wish I'd had this book 10 years ago when I started teaching.
