Alex Morgan was born and raised in western Oklahoma where he attended college and majored in chemistry and mathematics. Later, he moved to the Dallas area where he obtained his master’s degree and then a doctorate in analytical chemistry. He now lives in Baltimore.
He is an avid reader, particularly mysteries, since being introduced to the Hardy Boys in grade school. After reading his first Agatha Christie novel, Murder on the Orient Express, in junior high, mysteries have been one of his biggest enjoyments. He has always enjoyed reading comic books and loves the super-hero genre just as much.
Combining these two concepts, he has written two mystery novels prior to “Breathless”, in which he introduced gay, paranormal sleuth Corey Shaw. He is also the author of several gay erotica short stories published by loveyoudivine Alterotica.

A naughty, M/M retelling of Goldilocks? You bet. I'm all over that like a cheap, polyester, possibly paisley printed shirt I envision one of them wearing.

For a novellette that looked to be firmly ensconced in the porn category from the blurb, I was surprised how feel good it was despite or possibly because I could hear the Bow-Chicka-Wow-Wow softly playing in the background.

Yes, there are aspects that are of the unbelievable variety like why a boy who's on the cusp of taking the bar exam has never left Chicago AND has wealthy parents. Or why he has no car? Eh. Why ask why, I say. Just roll with it.

The cover is a bit misleading with all the leather harnesses suggestive of kinky bears. Alas, they were just furry and horny and on the run from the law. About the time the convertible Chevy Impala showed up I knew this was going to be a fun ride. It's also set in 1964 so you know what that means, kids. Yap! Bareback with Vaseline. Über retro. Our Goldilocks a.k.a. George, it seems, has never really had a family and the three bears become that by taking him under their wing, teaching him how to fish, garden and live off the land which was both charming and endearing.

A quick, smutty feel good read. Did I mention one of the MC's goes by Daddy? *eyebrow wiggle*

I would like to thank JMS Books for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Charming little M/m/m/m story. I usually do not read about threesome or more. But since I loved many other Morgan's books, I decided to give it a try.

Just didn't do it for me

My download was messed up. It would be fine then it would switch fonts and repeat. I had trouble following the story and there was really nothing to the story.
