It has been the hardest book to read having lost my precious Misha after 16 years of unconditional love. However, reading all the various stories of other pet owners describing their experiences with the deaths of their pets it helped me process some of my feelings of remorse and emptiness. I still miss her desperately but I can be thankful knowing how blessed I was to have had her in my life.
