2024-read as part of 10th grade homeschool chemistry course.
This was super engaging and fascinating history of chemistry. Both my girls really enjoyed it and it may be the favorite chemistry book we have done yet. No experiments, and it’s only a supplement with other books as part of a whole Living Books Chemistry year, but this is well worth reading. (Middle school or High school level). We will be seeking out this authors other books for sure.

I learned a lot about chemistry in this book. I didn’t know all that much before, but this was great. I loved that it had questions at the end of a chapter. It really helped me remember everything that I learned. 👍

I liked it. The technical side of chemistry is hard for me. But the history of chemistry, which this was, was very enjoyable.

The information covered in this book was good and there was a lot I learned. You will learn chemistry from a Christian point of view, and will learn the history of chemistry and those who discovered different elements, who, what, when, and how. Overall a very enjoyable chemistry book (this book is the first in the curriculum) for homeschool parents looking into a chemistry curriculum for their children.
