Alan Maley worked for The British Council from 1962 to 1988, serving as English Language Officer in Yugoslavia, Ghana, Italy, France, and China, and as Regional Representative in South India (Madras). From 1988 to 1993 he was Director-General of the Bell Educational Trust, Cambridge. From 1993 to 1998 he was Senior Fellow in the Department of English Language and Literature of the National University of Singapore, and from 1998 to 2003 he was Director of the graduate programme at Assumption University, Bangkok. He is currently a freelance consultant, and Series Editor for the Oxford University Press Resource Books for Teachers series.

A ver, que situación este libro. Esta muy bien hecho porque uno creería fielmente en la primer lectura que nuestro protagonista está saliendo de la matriz y verdaderamente encontrando la felicidad. Sin embargo, al final del libro y en alguna re lectura nos damos cuenta de que el pobre hombre sentía que no lo valoraban lo suficiente y que, en vez de confrontar el problema, SE FUE SIN DAR EXPLICACIONES. El tipo daba por sentado de que ya estaba Divorciado el 2do dia fuera de su casa(?????? terrible. Ademas uqe alguiwn peinse en los pobres hijos y la esposa que solamente estan tratando de llevar una vida, please. En fin, así vemos lo que pasa cuando sobrepensamos todo y tenemos un par de mental issues tambien.
