Moderate light use evident (especially at the spinal area), but quite well intact. Sturdy brown boards with gold lettering to the spine. Still a very nice copy in a near-fine dust jacket. Book is replete with illustrations. A fascinating study regarding the history – and “romance” of - smuggling and its impact upon British culture and society. 0715360876

My first read on smuggling, so a useful introduction. Good little book by an ex-Revenue officer. Biased towards the relationship between smuggers and Preventatives, but that's to be expected.

Lots of detail - quote from original sources etc. Useful bibliography.
