His publications include The Book of Perceptions, Placing The Accents, dust and conscience (awarded the San Francisco Poetry Center Book Prize), within the margin, and Four Letter Words. Truong lives in San Francisco where he is currently teaching poetry at SFSU and Mills College.

The infinite line-across-the-page-thing---so full of potential, but I feel he falls through on really exploring the possibilities. Also, the margin/center analogy for identity is played out. A good book to teach, though, if you're segueing into more experimental/contemporary Asian American writers next.
