Critically acclaimed writer and poet Salima MaSud gives the reader a personal inner glimpse of life boxes. Salima spends much of her time volunteering in her favorite soup kitchen, the homeless shelter and helping to rebuild, whether it is on her home turf or flying to Louisiana to help Katrina victims. She is also President of the I’AM Still Here Group, which consist of women dedicated to bonding and helping older people cope with the challenges of aging. She is currently working on a book of short ‘life’ stories, fiction and nonfiction reflecting her childhood, travels and special focus on women
I was amazed as my God-Mother Salima creates visual picture with her poetry! My favorite poem is entitled Lovedu! This beautiful poem is about about the Lovedu Queen of Africa!
