Compulsory reading for anyone who wants to understand the epidemic of knife crime gripping the nation of Britain. Knife crime is sweeping the UK as the law of the blade rules on the streets and in the schools of our towns and cities. Many cases have gained notoriety, but many more hardly cause a stir, except to the victims, their families, and friends whose lives are ruined forever. Now this book reveals the truth about the inexorable rise in knife crime and what, if anything, can be done to stop it.
Guess I was reading a different book to the other reviewer. I found this book interesting, informative & it opened my eyes to how bad the knife crime is on the rise in our country. Upsetting reading the stories of how these young people were cut down in their prime & for what...they were over the most ridiculous of reasons & why those youngsters thought that what they were doing was acceptable is quite a terrifying thought.

How on earth did I make it through this? Yes there's a problem, the whole book only showed examples of why it's so bad. Some predictable preaching platitudes and dreadful editing errors. My heart goes out to the innocents whose experiences are reported here, but this edition does not help their cause.
I picked this book just to change my routine reading. The books goes through some knife crime incidents in UK and brings out the pathetic situation of law and order related to youth violence. John McShane being a reporter in many such cases has successfully painted a sad picture for his readers. His style of describing murder story and the pain and agony that follows is appreciable.
