Excellent to find a book about construction vehicles that has a fantastical and imaginary storyline. The inclusion of jungle animals is good fun. I was pleased to see Ruby joining Teddy (girls can drive diggers too, and this book is not just for boys!) I liked the high expectations in terms of vocabulary (“backhoe loader” and “telescopic handler”). My 21 month old adores the story and repeats some of the most memorable phrases. “3, 2, 1 divebomb!”

It is too short and lacks sense or context for the story.

Great creative book on two types of diggers in action. Wonderful illustrations and a great book for a boy captivated by diggers!
