I loved this book!!! I think Mr. Mays did a great job keeping the reader on the edge of their seat wondering what was going to happen next!! Once I started reading the book I didn't want to put it down until I finished!!! Way to go Nelson!!! Sure hope you start on the next one soon!!!
This book has everything needed to make a great story. The plot thickens, and twists and turns start to appear in the story line to keep you guessing. I am typically not a 'horror' or 'thriller' reader, but this one kept my interest and was not a gory as I thought it would be. I cannot wait to see what else Nelson Mays has to write next!
I usually don't like present tense novels (I feel like I'm reading stage directions);however, this author had me caught up in the quirky humor of his lead character in the first few pages. I read this book in FIVE hours! I couldn't put it down. The descriptions are top notch; I found myself lost in the world he constructed around Mr. Naismith. Fast paced, thorough, and hilarious. EXCITING read! Hope to read the sequel that was implied at the ending. A+
