A well written and readable account of the exploits of 461 Sunderland flying boat squadron during WW2. The author was a member of the squadron, but it is not a personal memoir. It recounts some of the squadrons experiences of the U-boat war in the bay of Biscay mostly. There is a touch of humour when needed and stories of extreme bravery, boredom and perseverance. A worthwhile read of those interested in this subject.
