What a wonderful book for home use on everything beauty and health related. Its simply written, easy to follow and cheap to use. It doesn't over complicate matters, uses regular store cupboard ingredients and you don't need to be a herbalist or chemist to understand it. Even I can whip up a hair mask or face thingy so there.

I love this book and have tried quite a few skincare tips out of it. I do think part of why I love it is because it’s sentimental to me from my childhood/early teens. That being said, the tips I’ve tried for hair and face have been good, simple and easy to do. I still refer to it sometimes.

i only really flicked through this book once I realised it was quite dated. I'm sure some of the ingredients could be substituted though, but it would need thinking about.
