This is definitely the best Artscroll biography written. It isn't just Hagiography meant to inspire people, but a thoroughly researched book that really explores who Rav Hirsch was. I'm told the author is a grandchil of Rav Hirsch who did years of research to write this. Highly recommend.

This book is a must read for those who oppose the modernization and reformation of authentic Judaism. Klugman manages to create, a balanced yet respectful, well researched account of the fierce fight between the reformists and the orthodox traditionalists in 19th century Germany.
