3. the Jilting of Granny Weatherall
4. Chrysanthemums
5. the story of an hour
6. the storm
7. A Clean Well-Lighted Place
8. Young Goodman Brown
9. Greasy Lake
10. Revelation
11. Everyday Use
12. A Goodman Is Hard to Find

Because of the themes of forgiveness and culture and motifs of music used, mixed with beautiful imagery and emotional words, Sonny's Blues continues to be my favorite short story ever read.

It's a college textbook, I enjoyed it because it gives you a chance to read about other poets or writers, it gives you writing assignments and tips, and it gives writes perspectives, it's a book that you read in parts and sections there's no need to read it in order.
