Returning To Wright Street: More Life, Love and Laughs of a City Boy Growing up in the 1940s and '50s.

Rate this book
In follow-up to his well-received first book, Remembering Wright Street, a former Manual High School student takes his readers on a return trip to the golden days of the 1940s and '50s on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana. In this new book the author shares more true stories and personal essays about the people, places, things, and ex- periences that were part of his life while growing up on Wright Street near Fountain Square. Some of his writings are amusing; a few have a touch of pathos. But they all make an enjoyable read for anyone who lived back in those times or knew someone who did. Whether you grew up on the south side of Indianapolis, in some other Midwestern town, or wherever, you'll get a kick out of sharing in the adventures and misadventures of a big city boy from another era in Returning to Wright Street.
