This book is good for the gardener who would like to avoid insecticides and who is looking to use more natural ways of controlling insects. The book helps you identify both good and bad insects and suggests methods of control including timing of planting, companion plants, and home remedy solutions. Some of the material is a little dated, but supplementing the information with a quick web search will enable this book to continue to be useful to the gardener wishing to minimize the use of pesticides.
