This is the book that the 1960s classic television show The Flying Nun was based on. I recently started watching it on Amazon and have enjoyed the first few episodes. The book just as great! The description of the Convento San Tanco did sound a lot like the location the show was filmed. There are a few subtle differences in the Sisters characters. There isn’t a Senor Ramirez or discotheque rather that character is a grocery store owner with a secret that’s divulged at the end. The book includes the story of how Sister Bertrille discovers she can fly and several funny adventures that were in the first episodes of the show. I have no idea why I’m enamored by this show and book, but it has been fun to escape into. ⛪️
