I thought this would be a multiple choice adventure , the second half is so don't worry and the first half is about 70 pages of a story staring Treguard the host of Knightmare on a medieval story. Overall it's okay. It reawakens memories of a much loved TV show. It is all in all just okay but it's a happy enough way to spend a couple of hours. I'll lend it to my pals who also really enjoyed the show. This could be a great present for people of a certain age.

More of the rich history and folklore of England is mixed together skilfully with established Knightmare characters and concepts, creating an extremely pleasing addition to this book series. King Arawn and his court of rather demonic elves make excellent antagonists. The conclusion of this story is particularly strong.

The "choose-your-own-adventure" section is extremely tricky to win (I suspect, more tricky than Dave Morris intended or realised when he wrote it) but it's satisfying, Dungeon-bound stuff for Knightmarers.
