This is the book that I should have had when I took a course in Kant's philosophy at Stanford in 1961-2. It explains all the fundamental concepts that Kant used without explanation because people of his time used them all the time.
The writing of this book is exceptional. I've taken it as my ideal, my standard for formal writing.
