Sandy Cole’s new friend Brenda isn’t exactly a good influence, and soon they are planning a trip to the city – despite her dad saying “no.” With a bit of conniving, Sandy persuades her mother to say “yes,” going against her dad’s wishes. Kent, who was physically blinded after his own foolhardy actions, intervenes; but will wisdom prevail? He persuades one, but not the other. Brenda ends up going alone, meets a boy in Minneapolis, and what was supposed to be a fun-filled weekend in the city ends regretfully.
