This would make sense if it was added as a freebie to the purchase of the video game. People who haven't played the game will have no idea what's going on. There's no real plot, it's just a few concepts and ideas in the form of a comic book. More than anything, it's a curiosity.
I really like this one, it feels just like Dead Space downfall, where you know how the ishimura falls apart, same here with the Sevastopol, I love the art, the Lovecraft vibes one of stories have and the little jumpscare I have with the alien
4.5 stars. An excellent single issue comprised of three brief yet tenuously connected stories. I had a difficult time tracking down a copy but it’s available online if you look hard enough.
I guess as a REALLY short read that is okay but was expecting something more it feels more filler than actual story. I guess a part to the game backstory?
Short but sweet! Normally I probably wouldn’t give something that’s only 22 pages long this high of a rating, but this comic was extremely good at capturing the moodiness that’s such a huge part of the entire Alien franchise’s appeal! Despite its short length, all of its characters feel much more believable and fleshed-out than a lot of the characters in the longer epics I’ve been reading in the Aliens vs. Predator comic series! The way all the short, few-page-long stories are weaved together to create a creepy vibe is just really impressive!
