This is a fast paced, exciting story of crime and mystery that takes place in Louisiana during and after hurricane Katrina. Arlen Phelps is a broken man who bears the scars of violence, divorce, and pain of his kidnapped young daughter. His profession is a lawyer, but his true goal is to seek out those who commit crimes of abducting children and hopefully saving their lives, while Kathleen, his daughter, is still missing. Now he seeks the vicious killer of his friend and neighbor. This story that Charles Dowdy weaves with thrills and spills, will keep you absorbed right to the end. But does it end? Read it and find out.
